Nikon AF-S DX 18-140mm f/3 : Five Stars

This is an excellent lens for the price. It works really well with my d3200 and is now my preferred lens every day lens.

Used this lens for two trips to china and india. I didn’t really need to use my other lenses this one is a good wide angle and has a good zoom.

Really sharp and a great range.

Very good lens covers the majority pictures that i take. Good optical quality and good price.

Gives you just right amount of focal length for walking around without adding the more weight of going to a 300mm lens. Good replacement for the 18-55 lens.

Good product only negative it comes from austrailia so not sure how the guarantee is afficted.

This was a replacement lens to my original 18-75 which malfunctioned after many years of use, i chose this new lens to give me added versatility to avoid changing lenses during a shoot. This is my main lens and at the price paid was an excellent choice.

Great lens but did not come with uk warranty card. Af motor makes a slight chiming noise so it may even be a refurb or return, who knows?i dont use it often so didnt bother returning as it was so cheap but i should have done.

A good lens for an amateur like me.

Even better than the old one 18-105. Sharp,light and o nice range but still a compact size.

If you don’t own this lens you need to get it. It’s so versatile it’s not true. Sure it can’t do everything, but it’s pretty close.

Nikon af-s dx 18-140 lens was exactly as described, second hand but feels as good as new, very happy with it.

Work well, solid build, no issues so far. Nice pictures even at high zoom, good focus, all is well.

I must say this lens is fantastic the detail in the pictures are superb, i was going to buy a cheaper lens but after reading a lot of reviews i went for the nikon af-s 18-140mm with vr. I am so happy i did buy this one because it just looks so good on the camera and make it look like a quality camera. The focus is very smooth and easy to use it just feels like quality i love this lens, i have the standard nikon 18-55mm and the nikon 300mm lens but i rarely take this lens off.

I was surprised at the great quality of this lens considering the fantastic price. Good bokeh, sharp focus and fast.

Oerfect gift for nieces birthday. She has started a course on photograph.

A very good lens when you just want to go out and take photo’s without changing to different lenses , a quality walkabout lens.

Great walkabout lens only change when needing a larger f stop for low light shots.

Find this to be a good lens – it’s really my new walk about one. It feels sturdy and not as hard on the batteries as other ones i’ve had; i think this is because the autofocus (which i use because i don’t trust my eyes) only rotates internally it doesn’t turn the whole unit.

I was looking for a good walkabout lens and i found one with this lens. There are slight distortions in the corners of the frame but this is apparently common with all telezoom lens. Nikon has firmware to auto correct distortion; however this particular lens is still missing from the list, this is why i only give this lens 4stars. I take lots of portrait photos and haven’t noticed the distortion. I love this lens because it allows you the option of wide angle shots and mid telezoom.

I am very impressed with this lens. It does everything i want, going from wide angle to telephoto and good aperture, leading to good exposure. It does everything i wanted, good old nikon.

A very useful lens, seems to cover many situations and so far it works well. However, it does make rather ungainly noise during focusing and i’m hoping this won’t lead to complete failure at some point. Beware: the lenses sold by signyt do not have a uk warranty.

Tried for ages to get one of these lenses.
