zelotes Wireless Gaming Mouse : Good but not for a Mac

Only bought this mouse due to its wireless functionally, its not the best mouse but certainly good for the price. It’s pretty comfortable and the led lights make it look nice, though the colour cannot be customised, this is also same for the buttons on the side of the mouse. The only problem i really had with it was that the mouse often gets out of sync with the receiver which can get annoying at times. Other than that, it is a pretty solid mouse for the price but if your actually looking for a good ‘gaming mouse’ then i would look for something else, for a wireless mouse at that price it’s pretty good though.

Took a bit of getting used to as it was bigger than my previous mouse. Somme good functions, but never have it lit up as it runs batteries down.

You need your own rechargeable battery – which i actually think is a plus because it’s easy to change and allows you to choose the battery type. Connectivity seems good and it always feels responsive. Has a number of different modes to customise battery use and signal type, which i really appreciate. The only real drawback is the ‘home’ button on the side which is really easy to hit by accident and i have done it quite a number of times, so i felt i couldn’t quite give the full 5 stars.

Bought this for my son to replace the mouse on a mac desktop. He thought it was really cool-looking and says it works well, and he likes the addition of a fire button that automatically ‘clicks 3 times with one click’ (i’m quoting him, as i don’t actually know what that really means). His only complaint was that the 3 buttons on the side are designed for use on a pc, but have no function on a mac.

Good mouse for the most part, has some nice features:usb port on the front for using wired when you run out of power. Triple fire button can be useful at timesback and forward buttons. However the ‘desktop button’ rests directly under your thumb, meaning that if you are gaming and your thumb touches it you’ll watch your game lockup for 5 seconds while you are brought to your desktop. I’m not sure why this is included on a ‘gaming’ mouse and, if it is 100% needed, why it can’t be disabled/remapped. If you are interested in a simal mouse, i would suggest saving £5 and buying the model without this extra button.
