Hama uRage Gaming Mouse, Absolute quality. Best bargain I’ve seen for a while

The price point for this mouse hits a sweet spot, it’s many times better than £10 or less mice. I was lucky enough to purchase this mouse when it hit a low price point of £12. The usb connector is a little large. I use a mbp where the usb ports are very close to one another. This should not be an issue for people with multiple usb port locations. The braided cable is nice and the teflon feet do a good job of making it easy to move around. The dpi switch is convenient and provides a good range of options for almost everyone.
‘6 quick-acting buttons and 5 programmable buttons’ oh really?. Now i’m being picky, but there are not 11 buttons on this mouse. It should have said there are 6 buttons, of which 5 can be programmed in-game. Also the pictures at first glance show it having buttons on both sides – it doesn’t. I think that there is a left-hand and a right-hand version shown in the photos – check out the slash marks going in different directions. Minor points but they can be misleading. Why i have marked it down: i found the left-click way too sensitive; i only had to put my finger on it and it was clicking. As for the side buttons, i found the opposite – i had to press really hard to get them to work. Other than that, no real complaints about the quality or the feel, but i much prefer the perixx mouse i’ve bought since, which is why i’m only giving it a 3.
Excellent quality, outstanding design, ease to use and it is ‘cool’ for my 12 year old son as it has bright side effect lightsndh.
In need of a high quality hama gaming mouse?if you are in need of a new mouse for gaming on your pc or perhaps something more accurate than the integrated laptop or notebook mouse for gaming. The optical mouse does not need a mouse mat to work and unlike a ball mouse an optical does not become clogged with dirt, which will affect the responsiveness, this makes the mouse great for use on the go. The hama urage evo gaming mouse is the ideal solution; it is a 6 button mouse including a scroll wheel with key function and has an integrated 2400 dpi optical sensor which can be adjusted (600/1200/1800) for precision movement and cursor control. This means the mouse is exceptionally receptive and all of your movements with the mouse are correctly translated onto your screen. The mouse has 5 programmable buttons which can be assigned individually depending on the game requirements, with one dpi speed dial button for quick speed changes. The mouse has clear resolution displays with leds and 500 hz usb polling rate. The mouse has great grip due to anti-slip coating and low friction teflon feet for great movement. The plug and play, driver free installation makes setting up this mouse easy. Furthermore, the 2 metre cable gives plenty of flexibility in playing your games, whilst avoiding to much unnuecessary cable clutter. Get your fantastic gaming mouse today with the urage evo gaming mouse from hama.
Changes colour depending on dpi, nice fabric coated wire, doesn’t work the best on glass but not unusable and occasionally double clicks by its self but is good build and shape 10/10 for price.
Great gaming mouse that has good function buttons and is lit up with a lovely blue glow on the sides.
This mouse is honestly fantastic. Just what i needed for my wow gaming at an affordable price for someone like me on an extremely low income. It turns out that while most of the time it’s truly great, it’s taken to be rather risky for using. Occasionally the mouse will just randomly disconnect for absolutely no reason. Removing and reinserting the usb plug fixes it but unfortunately during gaming this can get to be a real problem if it disconnects at the wrong time (while in a group). I’m not sure if there’s an active guarantee attached to it but if there is i may just act on it. Unsure whether i’d find an affordable alternative but i’m extremely worried this mouse will disconnect at just the wrong time. Be extremely cautious when buying this.

This mouse is great, it looks amazing especially with my blue back-lit keyboard, its great to use, my hand fits perfectly around it, and i love the dpi settings (it changes colour depending on the sensitivity of the dpi) this mouse is everything i look for in a mouse and at £17 it is an absolute bargain, i would highly recommend this to anyone looking to buy a mouse but does not want to cashout on a razer or other more popular brands, i use this for gaming and have no problems or difficulties.
This mouse is a very high quality mouse, it has a braided fibre cable and the ergonomics are very pleasing. The dpi button located on the top of the mouse is a quick way to change the sensitivity of the mouse, the button itself also changes colour so you know what dpi you are playing on, overall i believe this is an amazing mouse especially for the price.
Good temporary gaming mouse. Wouldn’t recommend as a permanent mouse as the connection seems to break within a few months. The mouse does look nice and has an option so you can change your dpi. The two macro buttons on the side are great for gaming. After months of having this mouse the scroll wheel broke and the connection went on it forcing me to be a new mouse. The mouse its self looks great, as long as you don’t mind bright lights when your on you’re using it.
I bought this a good few months ago and it is still as good as new after almost daily use. Really comfortable, smart looking and the quick dpi change button is very helpful for games where you need accurate aim but also need quick movement too. Great mouse, well built, the wire itself is robust and a good length also. Great product for gamers and general users alike.
I hardly write reviews, but for the price of this mouse and the quality i feel obliged to and i will do so in bullet points. – the feel of the mouse feels incredible, the glossy finish is really nice. – the cable of the mouse has very similar materials of my razer carcharias headset cable (threaded mesh cable)- led’s on the mouse are authentic and make the mouse look even better- the dpi button in the middle of the mouse is really handy (i started off on 600 dpi but as you get used to it i moved up to 1200 dpi) and really easy to switch between different dpi settingsthis mouse does everything i want it to do with a little price tag. I can not justify buying a razer mouse when this one is available at one third of the price and is on par to one.
I chose this to use at uni because i wanted something cheap but with a high dpi. This mouse is great, it does everything you’d expect and it nice to look at/use. I’ve got small hands and i have no issue using it for long periods. It doesn’t have the weight of my razer at home, but that would be my only slight complaint, and as it’s nowhere near the price, it’s a good budget mouse.
Decent mouse for gaming, the sensitivity button is great for customisability (is that a word haha. My only qualm is i can’t seem to map the side buttons with certain games, not sure if it’s a hardware issue or just those games not working. Oh and the bright led lights that don’t turn off when you power down.

Even with the free delivery, this product arrived 3 days before the allotted time-frame. The mouse itself is of great quality and design, the lights make an interesting side feature and the ‘on the fly d p i’changer is very useful if you are changing games often or just not fond of trying to find different preferable options given to you bythe games setting. Then there’s the the macro buttons, yes there are only 2 of them despite the picture showing more on the right side of the mouse. Nevertheless they are very useful considering i’ve only needed the one, and they are aligned very well for my thumb to reach. Conclusion: excellent bang for buck, looks great, feels sturdy, material is non-slip yet feels comfortable.
Very nice lighting around the side with a bit in the middle that you canchange the lighting colours from blue to red to purple. A nice look with a nice feel when your playing your daily dosage of videogames. I don’t know if this only happens to me but sometimes it just doesn’t workand you have to unplug it and re-plug it to get it working4/5 stars, well done hama.
What more can i say about this, works perfect nice thick cord easy to use windows reckognises it right away the dpi switch is great for shooters. If your a general or avid gamer its perfect bu8t for the avid gamer you may want one with more buttons but for me its a 5 star for sure.
I bought this mouse back in march and it has worked almost flawlessly since, however, it periodically disconnects from my machine and has done since purchase. Recently (the past week) it has started disconnecting more often, making it impractical for gaming. It could be a problem on my side but i’ve read numerous reviews making reference to its longevity and it seems a relatively short lifespan is a common place issue with this product. I don’t think i’ll be buying this product again given it’s price compared to its lifespan. Overall, fantastic whilst it lasts.
I advice anyone to get this mouse even if you rarely game. This mouse sells for £15-£20 and is worth every quid. The mouse is very good looking with a good style and controls just as well. There is no reason for you not to buy this mouse if you’re considering it, don’t waste an extra 20/30 quid for a more mainstream brand mouse which doesn’t preform as good as this nor will it have the 4x dpi settings. Edit:after one year the right clicker has broken on my and will only double click i had to buy a new mouse.
Having had this mouse for 5 months now i feel that i have had sufficient time with this mouse. It looks great with the lights along the sides and at the top. Glides effortlessly across my mouse pad too. But after using this mouse for 5 months now there have been a few problems with it; bear it mind these may not happen to you. The scroll wheel decided to come loose and now only the middle click works; this was after 8 hours a day usage for about 4 months. Another thing (that may be entirely subjective) is that whenever i put my pc into sleep mode with the mouse in, after a few minutes, the pc will wake up. This doesn’t happen when the mouse is unplugged. Furthermore, there isn’t really anywhere to comfortably put your thumb, and you sorta have to bend your thumb to reach the m4 and m5 buttons along the side. But apart from that, it’s a pretty good mouse for the money. Precise, smooth, and aesthetically pleasing with a solid built quality to it.
Well the mouse is all good and feels nice and has good build quality no problems during long periods of gaming but after maybe 2 days the mouse doesn’t work as well. The problem is minor and isnt really too big an issue. When i turn the pc on it doesn’t read the mouse the lights come up but nothing happens so i has to unplug it and put it back in a lot at the start after that its perfect. Ive tried this on all my computers and it happens to all of them :/.

The mouse is of quite good quality and has a great feel and shape, it has blue lights on the sides and the dpi switch changes colours according to the mode (off, blue, red, purple) there are 2 buttons on the left hand side only. The mouse wheel scrolls well and there’s nothing wrong with that. However there is a major problem with the clicking. Pretty much all the time now when i click it’s registering as a double click, for some this may not be too bad a problem, but for a gamer like me who plays league of legends it’s major and has resulted in buying the wrong item or buying 2 of an item multiple times. Also the fabric style cable cover from the mouse is rubbing against the part of the desk which rolls out and it’s become worn away to the rubber cable pretty badly. If it wasn’t for the double clicking then this would be a great mouse.
*review update after a years usage the left click has become pretty unusable, it always double clicks when you press it once and sometimes doesn’t respond at all.
I do not know a lot about gaming mouses but after using this mouse i am very pleased that i bought it. The urage mouse is a very good and value for money mouse which delivers. Played a few games of league of legends and it does make a difference in accuracy, i guess that would also apply to any other game. Its dpi button near the mouse scroll wheel is very useful to increase the precision and speed of the mouse cursor. It also changes the color of the mouse’s leds slightly on each button press setting. It goes blue – for a slight dpi increase then red – a medium/ fast increase and purple – which is the highest. The scroll wheel is quiet and large, which is a plus for me. The design of the mouse is very cool, kinda looks like a slim version of the madcats’ ‘rat’ model. Great alternative for a pro gaming mouse – much better value also :).
I’ve tried lots of mice and keyboards of the years and this, by far, is the best mouse i have ever owned. It’s quality with a perfectly smooth; responsive action and unbelievable value. I’m going to buy another as a spare immediately :).
I’ve had this mouse for a decent length of time (since april 2013) and it was okay to start with. Almost two years later it’s pretty much a complete mess to use. One thing from the outset is that you can’t stay on the max dpi for very long before it magically disconnects for whatever reason and the longer you use the mouse, it will tend to double click and triple click with a single press of a button, making normal tasks let alone gaming very frustrating.
Laser sensitivity button works perfectly. Theres no software required for the side buttons unless you play on an online gamenice comfortable designvery sensitive mouse buttons. Perfect for quick reactions. Usb cable is more than adequately long enough for any desktop/laptop5/5.
This is a brilliant gaming mouse its comfortable to hold, its dpi setting allow for full customised awesomeness during gaming etc. For fps you may want a high dpi for lighting quick reactions or for strategy where precise movements need to be done you may want a slower dpi :). And on top of everything it looks nice with bright led’s. Don’t wait any longer buy it now.

Had this nearly a year, and it’s great. Not one glitch or missed click. Side buttons in the perfect position. Outperforms some more expensive mice my friends have. Edit – this has lasted me 18months of what i would call heavy usage. Right click now occasionally send a double key. I play a lot of right click heavy gaming, so this is to be expected.
I’m on a budget after spending too much on a graphics card and decided to upgrade my £7 mouse for a real gaming mouse. I’m so happy i took the time too look around the site and found this. It’s only after using this i realize how bad my other mouse was. Starting at the beginning just opening the box too see the mouse was pleasant, it didn’t look cheap at all and both the quality and look of the mouse surprised me. It really is well designed and i’m proud to have it on my desk. If you just wanted a mouse that looks good then this would be worth the money. Luckily it performs as well. Being about to switch between dpi is a very nice feature. Whilst playing a fps i’ve found the max setting to be incredibly smooth and consistent, very impressive. At a touch of the button you can switch down the dpi making web browsing and such a bit easier.
