Corsair CH-9000051-UK Raptor K40 Performance UK Multi-Colour Backlit Gaming Keyboard : I have this keyboard for 2 weeks now and it is good gaming keyboard

Fantastic keyboard works perfectly. Wish it would use the same application as the rbg 65 pro mouse i bought with it but even so, its still amazing.

Great value for money and have found no problems but the lights being faulty at first but after reinstalling the software it worked fine.

I wanted a good keyboard without paying through the nose for a mechanical one. Plus the noise from a mechanical keyboard would have driven my wife (& me) mad. I am fussy with keyboards – had the same old dell keyboard for over 8 years just as i liked the ‘key depression/response’. This is a good quality keyboard. Used for my main pc – moderate gaming, a full days work & general use. The build quality is high and the keys/key depression is satisfying. I touch type, so it took me a while to get used to the extra keys on the left (programmable keys), but one used to it no issues at all. Only slight knock is that a few of the led lit keys do not fully illuminate at certain angles. However – please note that if you look more directly above the keyboard they do.

Corsair ch90000-51 uk raptor k40 performance ukthis keyboard arrived early and really packed well which is great. Fantastic delivery awesome looking keyboard. I’ve only given this keyboard 4 stars 2 for its fast delivery and the other 2 for a great looking keyboard i would have given it 5⭐+ but sadly when you buy this product you have a basic manual and the help site are all run by ghosts. There is no way to get a full version of a manual for this keyboard which is very disappointing as you pay £60 + for a keyboard that you can only use 1/2 of it potential with no on line support at all shame 😞.

Brilliant keyboard, has everything you need, extra buttons, backlighting, media controls. Warning: opinion – i prefer this over a mechanical keyboard :).

Nice sturdy feel and backlit colours are handy at night.

10/10 keyboard, but some of the keys ar enot fully lite uo and you can see some of the grey behind the key, other than that its fine.

Great keyboard, for a great price. Allows for a great range of customisation.

Good feel to the keys with a positive feel when you depress them in and quiet when pressed with enough feedback to know when they are pressed. Colour selection seems to apply to all keys and i could not find a way to set individual keys but found white stood out best in all the lighting conditions. Simple interface for recording macros. Seperate volume controls on the keyboard are nice and work well as there is an instant mute button as well as increase / decrease volume. I say the new replacement for this keyboard and to be honest prefer this k40 so i purposely sought out the older model. Very pleased with it and i hope it proves as long lasting as my previous microsoft keyboard.

Well built and was dispatched quickly.

Elevated keys make quick cleaning.

Great quality for the price – a real solid feel and nice feeling keys and action when typing – i recommend highly.

In my opinion one of the best keyboards around even for a rubber dome.

Really good keypad, the raised keys make it considerably easier to clean than most. My one problem with the keypad is that macros tend to stutter and the keyboard crashes if you’re changing macros mid-sequence — which leads to the pad forgetting all of the inputs you’ve specified on the panel. You have to change macro, wait a few seconds, initiate sequence, wait a few seconds, and then change macros which makes using it on mmos only really viable with very minor functions set. Just don’t go too fast on the thing, and you’re golden.

Halfway house between mechanical and domed keys.

Fantastic keyboard have had no issues with it at all extremely durable and well made. If you are looking for a really good keyboard at a resonable price this is the one to go for.

Well worth the money, wouldn’t use any other keyboard. Nice and silent but responsive. Macro keys are a god send for arma and dayz (my mates hate that i have an auto run key and they need to hold the keys for long distances).

Corsair CH-9000051-UK Raptor K40 Performance UK Multi-Colour Backlit Gaming Keyboard : Best keyboard i;ve used to date.

Very good keyboard for someone looking into getting into gaming. I had this keyboard for almost a year before moving onwards and upwards to a fully mechanical keyboard and i had no problems with it. The keys feel nice to press and i didn’t have a problem with them sticking or not registering. The raised key caps make it very easy to clean. The dedicated media keys are very useful, and i noticed that i missed them when i changed keyboard. The keyboard, although it is made out of plastic, is very solid and i never noticed any warping throughout my use of it. The feet aren’t that sticky, which took a star off for me because it tended to slide around every so often when the feet lost grip on my desk. Overall, i would recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade to a lower end gaming keyboard.

The keyboard lights up more brightly than my last and is able to display a wide range of colours. Due to the extra row of macro keys it takes a while to get used to typing on this keyboard, but once that phase is over it’s actually a nice experience.

£40 is great for this keyboard, quick points:- use ‘corsair gaming software’ to change light fx (pulse/cycle) or led colour- biggest issue for me at first was the g1-6 keys on the left, i keep pressing g6 instead of ctrl which can be annoying in games but i no longer do this after a week of use- just came with one wire, with a usb plug in – previous razer keyboard came with a very annoying cable with multiple attachments i couldn’t remove.

Has a nice feel to it, and the backlight is easily configured and is very bright.

Feels like a mechanical, had for a good 3 years and still running strong.

Gents, i have this keyboard for 2 weeks now and it is good gaming keyboard. It is very responsive and does the job well. Keys are elevated from the base of the keyboard which makes it more practical and more ‘gaming’ as well. If you want a decent gaming keyboard, consider this one.

Great keyboard, best i’ve had.

Great keyboard well worth the money.

A good quality keyboard which works well. It did take a bit of time to set up the product and it did cause my computer to become unresponsive while setting it up (i. The mouse and keyboard wouldn’t work when plugged in). However, after contacting the company for support, we worked out the issue.

For those of you looking for a budget friendly decent gaming keyboard with some macro keys – this is it. I bought this one as i sold my microsoft sidewinder x6 one with my last pc build and was using generic one for a while. What a pleasure to get back to quality keyboard with proper rollover. But instead of rattling on and on here are some facts:- very important tip – when you get this keyboard install software for this keyboard not most up to date corsair one; otherwise you will not be able to configure it as different version of their tools works with different keyboard- key rollover means i can press a,s,d,w and space key together along with others and all will be registered in the game; a must for racing games or even sandboxes like gta- led backlight is great; i know it is not super bright or vivid but i must say i love the fact there is one and i can modify the colour- macro keys are must have; so much easier in programs and games; you program them to do anything (just don’t store passwords this way please)- has onboard memory meaning you can unplug it, use it on other pc and it will remember macros for you- built in keys for volume although might not seem essential very handy to change on the fly- although membrane keys, very very nice and mushy feel; pleasure to type and game; no accidental pressesnegatives:- leds are not too bright but at the same time bright enough at night and only an added extra / gimmick rather than really needed rgb function- macro and f key location might take time to get used to; as you have 3 macro banks you can assign one of them (m1 for instance) as keys on their right, in that case if you are using windows or some software and keep hitting macro instead of ctrl or tab you will get same result anywayso overall. Although i don’t have many corsair products this one is superb. It is truly a true gaming keyboard. I will upload keyboard shot in dark and daylight. Daylight has white led colour at max while for night i stitched photo of few to show some different colours and shades.

Bam straight out the box the keyboard works incredibly well. Its not a mechanical keyboard, but it feels like one (without the clunky loudness that i associate with many mechanical keyboards. )the lighting is as expected, not too bright like most reviews suggested, so if you’re looking for a super bright keyboard then this might not be for you – but i have to say, in a dim room with the lights down low, the red glow it gives off is very very cool. At correct typing height the keys feel great, not too difficult to push down or bottom out, and out the box all keys work. The ‘g’ keys down the side of the keyboard are also a great addition, i feel they add that little bit more use for gaming, and i’ve found they’re already helping me. Superb product, hopefully keeps on pleasing me in the long run. The seller ‘awd-it limited’ are also worth mentioning, incredibly fast delivery of 5 days before the recommended date, and i even got a wee bag of sweeties too, just shows the seller is that little bit more involved in making the customer happy.

For its price, the keyboard is very nice. I was hesitant as it wasn’t sure if the build would be good, but it is quite amazing and i would recommend this to most people who are on a budget for keyboards as it is quite cheap i got mine for (£40). The price has since raised for some reason – but if you can find a similar price it is worthwhile getting the keyboard.

Love it, especially the fact that the keys are raised and it is sealed behind so no dirt gets in, really easy to clean.

I’m a gamer, but i don’t need a billion macro keys, and this has worked wonderfully for me since i got it a few months ago. The lighting is pretty cool and very easy to set up with their software, as are the six macro keys (technically you get eighteen as you can set six for each of the three profiles). Feels pretty nice to type with, isn’t ridiculously loud (although it is mechanical so a bit of clicking is expected), and works perfectly for everything i use a keyboard for.

It sure isbut that’s about it. The colours are not as amazing as you might think, they are quite dull, even on the highest settings. And the shortcuts on the keyboards are not supported in most software and games. I’m still using it but its not worth the money if your wanting shortcuts and colourful lights.
