Logitech G240 Cloth Gaming Mouse Pad – Looks pretty.
Works great with any logitech mouse and is really good for travelling with a laptop where you don’t like the track pad.
Bought it for my g602 wireless gaming mouse. Great size, doesn’t move around and has a perfect balance between friction & tractionlove it.
Lovely cloth mouse pad , i use it with my logitech proteus gaming mouse, software recognises it. The size is also ok, neither large nor small ,just perfect.
I bought it because i needed a wider pad to replace my way too small pad. It is better than i thought. It looks very nice with a logitech mouse on it which is a nice pro. It’s very smooth and doesn’t hold the mouse back at all.
Having tried a number of mouse mats, i’m very pleased with this product. It’s very thin, and initially i wondered if that might make it move during intense gaming. But no: the rubberised undersurface grips to the desk in a very reassuring way. Mouse control is precise and smooth, more so than my previous mats. In fact, it just seems to be an extension of my desk because of its thinness, but a desk surface made for my mouse. A word of caution – just check the dimensions. 4 x 28 cm)- that’s great for me, as it means i never inadvertently reach the edge of the mat whilst gaming – but of course you do need a big old desk for it to inhabit.

Works well and has stood the test of time, however the corners to turn up after a while.
I ordered this as my nephew is ‘into gaming’ and i’ve used something similar for the past two years (by allsop). I thought between us we could write a good review. Mine is about half the size of the logitech mat under review and less thick / dense. The logitech mat is quite large and still quite thin, but does offer some comfort and rest for the hand or wrist (depending how you hold your mouse). What makes it so very good indeed, of course, is the accuracy of the gaming mouse on its smooth, densely black, slightly flexible and soft, yet fixed velvety surface. It’s frankly superb – for normal computing as well as ‘gaming’. Playing games on a pc you need smooth and highly accurate mousing – and this, with a logitech gaming mouse, offers you an experience that must surely be, frankly, as good as technology can offer. If this lasts as long as my allsop mat is doing (and like mine it seems rather insubstantial), then you have a very good buy indeed.
Was tempted with the hard mat. This one is much preferred as having a smaller size desk i couldn’t find much space for hard mat. This one however is fantastic it hangs off the side only slightly it is thin, easy to clean. I can hardly feel a height difference on my keyboard when it is under it. Overall fantastic product – had a massive impact on my game play.
These are big but also great.
I waited a couple of months before posting a review to see whether the edges of the mat would fray. The mat is really thin, initially i thought this was a bad thing, but it definitely isn’t – it stays perfectly flat all the time rolls up easily if you need to move it out of the way. The surface is a little slicker than the one i had previously (a steelseries one) after using it for a couple of days i started to prefer it, my mouse slides effortlessly on this onei’d happily recommend this mat to anyone.
My son uses for gaming, he seems happy with it.
Very smooth surface, mouse (g502) glides and tracks perfectly. Here are the specifications for the Logitech G240 Cloth Gaming Mouse Pad:
- Make sure this fits
by entering your model number. - Medium-friction surface
- Consistent surface texture
- Optimal Logitech G sensor surface
- 1 mm thin rubber base

The g240 is, as mouse pads go, pretty good. There are a few oddities, discussed below, but basically, it’s a good surface for moving your mouse around on. Having said that, when it first arrives, it does so in some frankly enormous packaging. Given it’s effectively a roll of cloth, i wasn’t expecting the tall hexagonal tube it arrived in, which is surprisingly bulky. Aside from the pad itself, the tube of packaging contains the warranty documentation, but was otherwise empty. The mat itself is, well, hug. The precise dimensions are above, in product info, but measure somewhere in the area of 33x28cm – note that this means that the mat is broader than it is tall. On the one hand, this is good – if you have the space for it on your desk, your mouse is very unlikely to leave the pad. On the other hand, this is a lot of room to give over to a mouse mat, if your space is limited. I contemplated cutting mine in half, and using it as two mouse mats for two machinesthe top surface feels like a moderate friction, smooth cloth.
Super silky smooth can’t fault it.
I do light hearted reviews on gaming mice and mats for my clansite ‘the bn nitwitts’. Have an enormous collection of them now. This is one that’s on the review list. I got this to go with the logitech g502. Actually got all logitech’s g mice. The g502 uses an ir laser which has problems on some mats, example would be the madcatz silicon glide 7. Must just add that the glide 7 silicon mat is one of my favorites, just does’nt work with the g502. I usually get the mat that goes with the mouse because it does make a difference performance wise in fast fps games. The g240 mat is unique and by that mean i cannot match up the material with any in my collection. The asus rog(original) is the closest to it but not the same.
Really good quality mouse mat. Feels nice looks nice and a good buy.
So i’ve used this for six months or so and it is still standing up reasonably well to fairly intense play. I’ve had no problems with slipping or unresponsiveness of the mouse, although the sides my forearms rub against most are starting to bend a little inwards so the corners/edges aren’t totally flat. It does seem to pick up stains, even though i am careful with food/liquids around it, so i have no idea where they have come fromthe mouse isn’t causing any undue wear (not totally surprising given that i have the g402 and they are deisnged to be used together), but the underside contours on the mouse do pick up a certain amount of fluff from the mat over time. Overall a sturdy product and lasts well given that the price isn’t crazy compared to some of the mats out there. I’d happily replace mine, when needed, with the exact same thing.
Smooth, nice and thin, easy to clean.

Great for the price and lasts well
-
it moves around on my desk a lot but the surface is great, if you can figure out a way to

This one however is fantastic it hangs off the side only slightly it is

This is a great little mat i was sent to review. Collapses down into a small handkerchief size. Unfolded it’s just short of a3. Texture is very good and the grip is excellent. Black is dense for laser mice too. All in all a top notch portable pad. For £20 i’d want a rigid high reflective special laser mouse pad with cool graphics or similar. This is good but it’s not worth more than a tenner even if you were feeling very flash or desperate but £20 ????. There’s way better pads to buy at that price and if you’re really that eager to have a portable non rigid pad. Buy a bit of neoprene from an arts or scuba diving shop.
Bought for my son and it’s exactly what he wanted.
Good non-slip gaming mousepad.
This mousemat ships in a very high quality and attractive box, perfect for a gift. The mat itself is fairly thin and provides an excellent glide for my apple wireless mouse. The large size is also a bonus, as i would constantly find myself slipping off my old mouse mat, as i work with large screens. I can definitely recommend this mouse mat to those who are looking for something a little larger. I don’t play games on the mac/pc, so am not sure what tactical advantage a gaming mouse mat would provide. But for my needs, it fits the bill perfectly.
Great product – feels really good and there is no smell of rubber or anything. A bit overpriced in my opinion (hence 4 stars).
Mouse feels great gliding across.

It is actually very good, not slipping on my wooden desk and is quite large. Only flaw is that it attracts dust very much and not very easy to clean from it.
Pros:+ large size, great for games+ smooth material, making it easy to do smaller mouse movements+ nice design+ ships in a nice box that stops it from rolling up at the edges when usedcons:- slightly too thin for my liking, not really an issueoverall a great mousepad if you have the space for it.
I’m not a gamer, i chose this mouse mat because as a graphic designer i need accuracy above all when using a mouse. I have a belkin £15 bluetooth mouse which i use mostly (preferred to my high dpi logitech gaming mouse because of its bluetooth-ness). Its a solid all round mouse, though not for gaming obviously. It jumps and produces quite sharp movement on my current smooth plastic surface mouse mat so was hoping for a remedy for this problem in the g240 mat. It doesn’t factor into my star rating but straight off i thought the packaging for the g240 mat was ridiculous, its box is 30 cm in length and its hexagonal shape is 8 cm wide. Why they couldn’t put it in a simple flat sleeve style card package i do not know. The mat itself is huge, it takes up a large proportion of my desk, i know its aimed at high intensity gamers but tested on my high dpi gaming mice i simply did go over half the dimension of the mat, i’m using a 15′ display so that obviously will factor into this. I’m actually considering trimming the mat down to a more functional (for me) size, i know its wrong but its just too big at the moment and it will also reduce wear and damage to the mat when other objects come into contact with it. As for accuracy its brilliant, i’m using it on a varnished wooden desk and the 1 mm rubber grip doesn’t budge at all, even when you try and shift it pressing with your fingers it doesn’t move a millimetre which is great. I also tried it on an unvarnished wood surface and it performs just as well. However, if you have any slight lumps or bumps in the wood it will be noticeable on the mat. I had to increase the tracking speed a level to accommodate for the cloth but this isn’t a problem for my basic mouse and isn’t a factor at all in my high end logitech gaming mouse. My basic mouse’s usability is increased substantially, with no sharp jumps and a very smooth feel. I know tiny movements will never be as good compared to my logitech mouse (if only it was bluetooth.
I haven’t used a mouse mat for years and to be honest had my doubts about the benefits of one, boy was i wrongmy mouse roccat kone pure core performance gaming mouse seemed to work fine before but now is so much more pleasant to use. If glides over this pad with just the right amount of friction, i hadn’t realised that using a mouse on a shiny surface was causing a problem until i tried this pad. My accuracy has increased by a fair amount toothe pad is extremely thin and could easily be mistaken for being a bit cheap and cheerful at first, but it isn’t. The base is sort of rubberised and sticks like glue to my desktop, yet lifts off to reposition as easy as pie. The top is a textured black cloth surface that is incredibly easy to keep clean. Anything dropped on it just brushes of by hand. It is so thin that there is no ridge to dig in your hand/wrist while using it, yet it is very strong and tough. I have also noticed that the bottom of the mouse is now always clean looking with no fluff or dead skin caught on it.
Non intrusive, best mouse pad ever.
Brilliant mouse mat especially when you have the g502.

I bought this for my logitech mouse gotta say, the grip under it isn’t all that well, it moves around on my desk a lot but the surface is great, if you can figure out a way to make it stick where it is, it’d be a great buy.
Exactly what i wanted; great size and not too thick.
To the hard core gamer who might be looking at this thinking that i am not suitable for a review for a gaming mouse mat – i can state that’s it’s of good quality, accurate and works well with a microsoft cheapish mouse and expensive apple mouse. The quality is excellent and for a home office it is exceptional. Think however that i may have missed the point of this product.
Exactly what i expected and i couldn’t have asked for more.
For a long time i’ve used my mouse directly on my wooden desk and it has been perfectly ok, whether using my mouse for normal day to day use or playing a frantic fps game. I use a logitech g500s laser usb gaming mouse on my pc and although it is an excellent mouse i often wondered if a decent mouse pad might make it even better. This pad comes rolled in a huge hexagonal tube and initially i was worried that this would make the mouse uneven – memories of buying a rolled floor protector to go under my office chair came back, and the kink that would never go away – but the pad is fabric, floppy, and very thin, so my concerns were unwarranted. The pad is only a millimetre or so thick, black, and with a blue ‘g’ logo on the lower right corner, but the whole thing is absolutely huge – 340x280mm in size – and takes up a fair chunk of my desk. Thankfully it can be rolled up and stored when not needed. When in use the rubbery backing means that the pad doesn’t move, or at least it doesn’t for me. Does it feel any different to just using the mouse on the desk?. To be honest there’s not a huge difference. It’s a little quieter i suppose, but i’ve not noticed any difference in accuracy or speed. I can’t say it really deserves the price tag, but if you’re a serious gamer and you’re in search of a nice, thin mouse pad and you have a big desk this may be the one for you.
Came in a box nicely packed.
