Aula Gaming Mouse GHOST SHARK Version Optical 2500DPI Adjustable 7 Colors Backlight USB Gaming Mice : One of the best gaming mice I’ve bought so far.
Delivery was great, item arrived very promptly. My previous mouse was a cheap, rgb led back-lit ‘gaming’ mouse i bought from amazon for around £6. At the time i didn’t play very many pc games so didn’t feel that an expensive mouse was necessary. I now realize that it’s better to pay more for a better experience. Design: the mouse looks sleek and the led lighting is very subtle but noticeable. There is writing by each of the buttons to tell you what they do. I suppose that’s good for newbies but after using mice for a very long time, i feel it is unnecessary and takes away from the design of the mouse. The cable is braided and looks and feels quite good. The mouse certainly feels more expensive than it was. The mouse is shaped perfectly for right handed users.
It was time to treat myself to a new mouse as my trusty hp one on my main pc was getting a bit long in the tooth and i wanted something a bit more suited for gaming. First impressions were good – it arrives nicely packaging in a protective sleeve in a neat but slightly plain cardboard box, and felt reassuringly weighty when i picked it up. As you’d expect in this day and age it was a pure plug and play experience with windows 10, and worked straight out of the box when i plugged it in with no need to install drivers or anything (not that there’s any in the box anyway – just a manual and guarantee card). This is my first peripheral from aula but they seem to be fairly well known for their keyboards in china. The instructions are adequate – it’s split between chinese and english but it’s all reasonably clear and easy enough to work out from the illustration. It certainly feels like a much more expensive product that the price point. The design is very comfortable in the hand, with the 7 buttons (including double click and a clickable scroll wheel) all easily accessible. As it’s driverless if you wanted to customise the buttons you’ll need to use 3rd party software. Please note i’m right handed and it’s not symmetrical so i’d imagine this may be a bit uncomfortable for use in your left hand – sorry, lefties. Dpi is adjustable and switches between the 4 rates with a click of a button on top, but it’s a bit of a gamble – i’d prefer it if there was a visual clue to show what setting it was on.
Excelant mouse for the price. I like the double click single button for games.
It is now couple of week that i use it. Very comfortable to handle and really cool.
The aula gaming mouse aka “killing soul” arrived on time and in perfect condition. It arrived in a plain brown box with which was printed with some manufacturer contact info along with an image of the mouse and some basic instructions in what appears to chinese and english. The mouse inside was protected by a small bag which was printed with the manufacturer’s logo. Also inside you will find a nicely printed instructional leaflet. The mouse itself feels like good quality with a modern military-like design. It has the aula loogo on the back of the mouse along with some printing denoting the button functions. The usb cable is plastic one without a woven outer but it has a piped texture to it feels robust. The dpi switching is solid, cycling easily through the three levels at 800, 1200, 1600 and 2000 dpi, the dpi switching button gives you good feedback so you know you’ve hit it. Operationally the mouse is responsive and comfortable. The left and right mouse clicks are activated with a sharp and there’s not much travel so you can tap away quickly.
The mouse arrived in a smart cardboard box branded with aula logo and a mixture of chinese and english writing. On the underside of the box was a diagram explaining the features of the mouse. Opening the box the mouse was contained in a foam bag again branded along with a warranty card and sheet showing the various materials used in construction of the mouse. When you get your hands on the mouse it initially looks large but not unattractive. The cable is covered in a black and blue woven material along with a velcro retaining strap so it should last. Rather than report on the tech specs as others have done i will focus on the usage and feel. I am right handed and it fits perfect for me and you quickly realise the product isn’t too large at all. Left handed people may have more difficulty in adjusting. The actions of the buttons feel light and responsive but not cheap. Movement feels “right” and the hand to screen coordination is perfect. We have used this on two devices. A windows 10 laptop running basic email internet word excel stuff etc and can report no issues and all functions as expected. My sone has also used on his windows 8. 1 laptop that he plays a lot of games on and he has put this through the motions on gaming activities and whilst there is not a lot of detail from him () he loves it and won’t give it backso overall i will give it 5 stars as it does its job well.
The ghost shark gaming mouse from aula is a fantastic mouse for under £20. I’ve used many budget gaming mice and this may be my new favourite. Pro’sstylish design with pulsating led lighting that changes colour. Fantastic build quality with sturdy materials. The mouse doesn’t feel cheap, even though it is7 buttons, with a dedicated double click button. Plug and play – no drivers required, just plug it into a usb slot and start gaminggood performance in gaming – the mouse glides around nicely and feels very precisenice for palm or claw grip styles – i used the mouse during hours of overwatch play sessions and never felt any muscle fatigue or aching at all. 4 dpi settings, can be cycled using the button under the scroll wheel. Blue and black braided cable for durability and added style. Con’slettering on the mouse looks cheaper than the rest of the mouse – doesn’t really seem to match the premium feel of the materials used. This should be changednot great for fingertip grips due to the shape and size of the mouse, i found the mouse to be a little bit slippery when using a fingertip grip.
I recieved this product with a discount though this shouldn’t detract from my honest opinion of this product. Aula are a company i’ve bought a few things from, and i certainly will continue to do so. The mouse is incredibly responsive, with four separate dpi values to choose from and easy to switch between in a pinch. The inclusion of a ‘double-click’ button is of great use in video games, and the side grips really help for those of use with larger hands. The sound the buttons make is also very quiet, and not at all off putting. My only real negative are the internal lights, of which they change colours very often, when powering down your computer, they turn off, at least, unlike my previous mouse. Highly recommended product, very quick delivery too.
