Brilliant but no soft click so makes some noise whenever u press keys.

Switches are outemu and hot-pluggable, but it is not trivial to change switches with the tool provided. Keycaps are very ‘gaming’ inpired, but with a substitution the keyboard looks awesome and sounds nicer than before. Backlighting is pointless for my needs.

Great product for its price, keys feel good for typing (recommend blue keys).

So far so good, have no complaints about it, quite heavy due to the metal base but apart from that it met all my expectations.

Difficult to find a full sized keyboard with brown switches and same day delivery (amazon prime). This ticks those boxes, can be fully flat/even as opposed to angled by default if you do not use the risers, and feels very durable. The keyboard is hot swappable although beware, i found the stabilisers were a nightmare to put back on when changing the switches. Lighting was very average but you cannot fault it to much at this price point as alternatives do not have any or just come with one colour. The cable is also fixed as opposed to detachable which may not be convenient if you swap keyboards a lot. This is also us layout and you could get a uk layout keyboard with blue switches, a detachable cable (e. Z88 on amazon) and nicer lighting for a similar price. However, this is the only one i could find that had brown switches at this price point so it was really a decision between my preference of switch – my overall rating reflects this less 1 star for it being us layout.

It works no problems, it feels pretty well made and nice to type on. Basically for the money it’s an absolute bargain. If i do encounter any problems i will be back to amend my review.

Extremely nice keyboard and my first mechanical keyboard. Very impressed by the feel, lights, comfort and price. Only reason i gave 4 stars is it came with the esc key and switch broken beyond repair (which made the replacement switches come in very handy) but i didn’t fret to much as i just replaced it with the numlock key and will just buy a replacement key cap. However, overall, very nice product.

Love the weight and the switches. Only drawback is the not so good stabilizers on the space bar. The switches do not require soldering on the pcb which allows for future upgrades. One thing to look for is the box switch design which can be damaging for softer keycaps.

So i bought this fully expecting to return it due to the ‘its only £30,this mech is going to be dreadful’ and while it is a us layout keyboard that doesn’t matter to me. The title is miss leading, this is a sunsonny s-j5 mechanical rgb keyboard with brown keyswitches. Pros;-dirt cheap-great build quality-not super loud but still very tactile-bright rgb led’s with over 6 presets-cheapcons;- us legend layout- no pc software to add macros or change rgb- each row of keys has 1 colour that’s it- annoying to my colleagues.
