Zalman USB Knossos Laser Gaming Mouse – Not the worst choice
Very comfortable to use for long periods of gameplay. 6 months hard use so far and flawless.
That’s all which i expect from that mouse.
Function button rattles slightly. Other than that – fine mouse.
I loved the feel in the hand of the mad cat, but they keep breaking. The zalman is a great mouse, slightly bigger than the 5.
Quite good if you have smaller hand. I still miss my rat 9 original sitek but batteries just didn’t last. And i didn’t want to spend too much. Only the wheel isn’t that smooth.
Very heavy but i haven’t removed any weights from it. I use it all day every day for work and i can’t fault it. Not used for gaming, just wanted something nice – and its certainly that. For the money you can’t go wrong. Nicely adjustable and draws comments from anyone that sees it. Only issue i have is that you have to unplug and replug the usb connector for the pc to recognize the mouse after a reboot. Hardly an issue as i have to plug everything in anyway after taking laptop home.

Great Mouse, well made
I really really like this mouse. 5 gaming mouse, and although it was comfortable and good, this feels like a much better quality product. The zalman is heavier but easy to move, and it feels more comfortable in my hand when gaming, i haven’t had the need to find out if there is a way of setting up a dedicated sniper button yet, but i have not had the need to as it is very accurate. I think it is also a much nicer looking mouse as well. Overall i am very impressed with what you get for the money and i would recommend this to anyone.
Pros: the weight is changable and makes it very user friendly as the buttons are all easily accessable. Cons: the software interface is quite poor and it makes it difficult to program difficult things for the buttons. For example: you cannot program a sniper button. But you can program buttons to be single keys, single special functions (shift, ctrl) or a bunch of keys and special functions.
You can create different dpi configuration, but switch between them isn’t easy like other mouse.
The zalman looks fantastic firstlypractically, the double-click button is something i wish i discovered years ago. The pump-action browser launcher is tres amusant, and the back/forward microswitches are of solid utility also. I just wish it had a few more leds.
Great mouse someone posted the scroll wheel was tight well yes at first but mine is ok now,i would recommend this mouse you do need to get used to it like everything else.

Its nice to use smooth butfor a gaming mouse it has no options to change buttons for any games like action buttons ect was hoping i could use the side button as maybe like a trigger but no option a bit disappointed with thatbut to use as a mouse in genral its lovely.
