Logitech Mechanical Gaming Keybord G710, Could not recommend this any more!

I bought the logitech g710+ as my first mechanical keyboard as i have recently broken my old g15 keyboard i felt i should stick with the logitech brand as i felt my g15 was really good quality. Well this keyboard is even better, the whole product just beams out quality. From the keys, to the back lightning and overall feel of the keyboard it really is a fantastic piece of kit. For anyone looking to upgrade to a mechanical gaming keyboard i would highly recommend it. The £100 price tag is some what high but i feel this keyboard will last for years and years of intensive gaming session.
Keyboard has stopped working all of a sudden after 2. I came back from a holiday to find my keyboard flashing backlight like crazy for few seconds, ‘virtually’ pressing all possible keys at once to die after less than 20 seconds of action. Other than that, nice keyboard, quality build, great scripting capabilities with logitech gaming software. Changed from 3 to 4 stars since logitech resolved my issue under warranty, see comment.
After trying several other keyboards, including mechanical ones, this just worked perfectly. The g keys are simple to configure and the action on the keys is really nice to type with. I would honestly pay double and be happy.
Best keyboard, gaming or not, i’ve ever owned. I write for a living and game every night and it’s the perfect tool for both. Well made, great keys (good feel and not too noisy) and subtle but useful illumination.
I bought this keyboard after i stupidly spilled tea on my razer blackwidow ultimate edition and i have to say at first i was annoyed because i usually am very careful around my keyboard but after i purchased this keyboard as my new one i feel like it was all worth it. They keys on this keyboard are reasonably quiet and give a very satisfying click with every press. I also feel that this keyboard is very practical because of the wire management that goes underneath the keyboard, my desk as never been so tidy and organised. The positives don’t stop there as the user interface used in the logitech gaming software that is provided is very easy to use. I do however have one complaint and that is i feel that the programmable g-keys are a little too far away for practical use while gaming but its not really too much of an issue for me.
The brown switches are the perfect balance between gaming and typing comfort. I wouldn’t see why anybody would want anything else. Brown switches are supposed to be unclicky. Which i guess they are, but that doesn’t stop browns from making noise, even with the already installed dampeners. Stick to mx browns, trust me. Only negatives are the inability to dim the capslock, numlock, scrolllock and winlock keys – though this is a minor and you do get used to it. For those saying it’s like having a torch shone in your face, they are massively over exaggerating and unless you are strangely in line with those keys, which would be impossible unless you want your keyboard half a metre to your left, then it isn’t going to shine anywhere near your eyes. Not that it is powerful enough to be distracting if it was anyway. The more annoying negative has got to be the removable wrist rest.
This keyboard changed my life. Great keyboard with nice responsive keys. It looks nice and feels very strong with no flex. The hot keys on the left are easy to program with the software. The lighting is nice and has 4 different light levels light, medium, low and off. Great keyboard that will last you a long time.

Great keyboard but stopped working after only 2.5 years

It’s an excellent quality mechanical keyboard from logitech. However it gets 4 star due to the fact the the printed keys are wearing after not even 1 year. So if your a heavy gamer you will find the frequently used keys wearing quite quickly.
My first mechanical keyboard, and definitely a new favourite. Keys aren’t too loud but are very tactile and satisfying to press. Macro keys function well, though the logitech software seems somewhat counterintuitive to me (before making a macro profile you have to assign it to a. Exe file on your computer such as a game or whatever, even if you don’t intend to use it for that particular program). Backlights are very clear and bright, with adjustable levels which is nice. The ‘gaming mode’ button is a godsend, as i am forever minimising games by hitting the windows key with my shovel-hands. Media keys are excellent also, and overall design is great. Overall, if you’re on the fence due to the price, i would recommend taking the plunge. It’s a wonderful, solid keyboard with a set of extra features that set it above the rest in it’s price range.
After 6 or so months works well. No problems with key caps or anything that were reported by others so far. Maybe i just don’t smash the buttons like some.
Really nice keybord feels good works well, maybe a bit pricey but i believe you get what you pay for. Aravied a day early ty amazon team :).
Awesome keyboard, owned for about a month now. Bought this instead of the razer blackwidow ultimate 2014 and never looked back since, great for all round use and ever better for playing mmo’s like wow :d.
Not to loud easy to use love it would recomend to everyone. Wicked playing on league of legends.
Writing this review around 4 months after purchase. When this keyboard arrived, it was very easy (for me) to set up. Just to let you know, it does take 2 usb slots but that was fine for me. The cable is great, it is a heavy duty cable so it is quite big but that didn’t mind me. My cat has had a go at the cable many times without any sucess. I guess that shows how good it is. It took me a bit of getting used to but after a day or two, i started to get used to the feel and i don’t think i can go back to a non-mechanical keyboard again. Most mechanical/gaming keyboards have a lot of extras that i didn’t want, for example; touch screens and loads of extra macro keys. But this keyboard has just the right balance for me, i am a casual gamer so i wanted a keyboard which would work well in that area, and it does.

I am using this keyboard with a mac, and it works perfectly. All the keys work and the software is actually quite good.
This is my first mechanical keyboard so don’t have much to compare it against however i’m very happy with my purchase. The keys are not what anyone could consider silent but compared to other mechanicals i’ve seen (shops / colleagues) it is a lot quieter than most. I’ve always found logitech gaming line products to be excellent and this is no exception. I hope this will last as long as my previous logitech keyboard and have no reason to believe it won’t.
Not only is it highly customizable with all the extra keys but the keys themselves have a really good feel to them – my typing speed has increased i’m sure
the ‘m’ and ‘g’ buttons are both very easy to program and can be used for anything.
The best mechanical keyboard i have ever seen/owned. It has just the right amount of extra buttons and the noise is reasonable. Brown switches are definitely the way to go.
Absolutely beautiful keyboard. I love the design, the functionality and the aesthetics of it. The brown switches are absolutely perfect for both gaming and typing, and the tactile feedback is just perfect. The aesthetics is really cool and i love the nice little wasd/keyboard separate lighting functionality. The media keys are also all very useful, and i like the easy way you can switch between macro settings. I used this primarily for dota 2, csgo, eve and sc2, it’s perfect for all of them in every way. Could not recommend this any more.
Very good mechanical keyboard, i use it everyday and each time i have to use another i do miss it. Sound is quite nice (hey, it is a mechanical . ;)) the multimedia keys are very nice, as the combo one. Also, you can change the backlight power which is quite nice .
Fantastic keyboard, love typing on this thing. It is quite a bit loud though and people can hear me very very clearly over voip which is a shame. I like that you can tweak the backlit brightness, and the macro keys. I would’ve liked if there were more macro keys, instead of having to switch the sets every time. Software is brilliant for setting the keys up, gives you premade keys for your games etc.

What my son wanted very pleased.
Good keyboard, feels nice to type on and is very responsive for games. Don’t often use the macro features but they can be useful.
No problems with it yet been using for about 6 months. Hasn’t really made me any better at gaming however :(.
Well built and feels top quality while you type. Would recommend it to anyone. Not just for the gamer in you but for general keyboard office work.
Nothing much to say about it, everything is pretty much as perfect as it can be
good job .
Great keyboard, nice fully mechanical keys, reliable performance, and nice quality. Well worth the price for the improvement to gameplay.
I do not use the g710+ for gaming. I wanted a quality keyboard with cherry switches – my other logitech keyboards have worn out quickly. The illumination behind the keys is fine except no shift characters are illuminated and they are a dull grey colour legend on black so difficult to see. For touch typing the index finger locators are virtually non existent so it is easy to lose position. Build quality seems to be excellent with good tactile feedback. Rotary volume control is better than using up/down buttons. Single connecting cable splits to 2 usb plugs for keyboard functionality and lighting presumably. Biggest niggle is the poor key-tops not displaying the shift characters and it would have been so easy to have made it work properly – at this price it is disappointing.

Love the feel of the keyboard, looks great, simple to set up the programmable keys, and many different handy little perks like the gaming button to disable windows presses, the volume roller, and usb port on the back. No more of those missed key presses, just solid sharp performance and a good quality product. The sound from the key presses is a lot lower than many other mechanical keyboards.
Husband loves his new gaming board.
This is the first ‘gaming’ keyboard i’ve ever bought over the last decade or so, and i am not disappointed. Even for every day use (i’m a software developer by trade), this keyboard is fantastic. Being a mechanical keyboard, it is very responsive to touch and gives a satisfying and confident response to keystrokes. It’s not cheap considering the vast array of alternative keyboards out there, but i don’t regret buying it.
Pity logitch don’t make it anymore, cos if it ever breaks (unlikely cos it’s built like a tank) i would want another one just like it.
Would prefer if it had mx clear switches.
Fits its purpose and amazing to game with.
Fantastic keyboard if a bit noisy. Only 3 stars as the d key broke after around 7 months and logitech don’t do replacements?. The keys seem quite brittle and not substantial where they attach to the switch. I was basically told to return to my supplier for replacement which is ludicrous for such and expensive keyboard. Thankfully i bought it off amazon.
