havit LED RGB Backlit Wired Mechanical Gaming Keyboard US Layout : Weight of a thousand moons, but a solid keyboard

The perfect keyboard for the money, love itfast delivery.

The hardware is fantasticfeels so good, really oldschool heavy clicky switches, bright leds and the keys look amazing floating above a very solid full alluminium case, which feels much higher quality than my previous more expensive razer keyboard. However, knowing that this is an rgb keyboard, i wanted the ability to get more colours than just the standard seven. There’s a driver for the cheaper, membrane alternative to this kb that allows full rgb personalisation and even adjustment of profiles based on what game you’re currently playing. Being the more expensive option, i thought this would have similar, if more basic, driver capabilities (not being a “gaming” keyboard). You’re stuck with the 7 colours until havit decide to make a driver for this too, but until then i’m kinda dissapointed, because this really is an amazing piece of solid, well made and well designed hardware and i feel it deserves to reach it’s full potential.

Great build quality, had this product for a while now. Has a few lighting features. Could do with custom backlight colour. But for the price, it is an amazing keyboard. Pretty heavy and definitely durable.

Lights are great and keyboard is comfortable. The problem is that it’s extremely noisy. I’ve even installed some key rubbers that help reduce the noise, but it’s not good enough. After a while, i replaced this keyboard with another one.

I play moba, fps and mmorpg games and this keyboard just works amazing with any game genre. Love everything about this keyboard, the design, the color options, the sturdyness of it. And one of the best parts of this keyboard is the price.Just amazingly cheap compared to other mechanical keyboards. (live in finland where razer, logitech etc keyboards are way overpriced)just than you havit for making this keyboard ^^.

I honestly loved this keyboard. It felt amazing and it easily bumped up my wpm. Unfortunately i had to return it as it was too loud. I even had o-rings applied to it and it still produced a lot of noise.

the first thing i noticed taking it out of the box was the weight – this thing weighs a tontyping on it take a bit of getting used to when moving from a regular keyboard, but you quickly start to realise that it’s much more pleasant to use. As other reviews have mentioned, it’s us layout, so if you’re using it for normal typing it’ll take a bit of getting used to (e. The @ key isn’t in the usual place under your right hand). Please see my video for a brief overview of this excellent keyboard.

I was really impressed by the quality construction of this keyboard when i first opened the box and held the product in my hands. After a month of using the keyboard i decided to buy some o-rings to dampen down the noise a bit. Yes blue switches are loud, but after adding the o-rings the whole experience got even better (flattening the keys down is now much quieter and travel distance has also been reduced a bit, something that i really liked). The havit customer support is excellent and very polite. I would like to thank them for their prompt reply and service. I also bough the aluminium mouse pad to compliment the keyboard. My only minor complaint would be the font-face of the keycaps, but now after using the keyboard for over a month i don’t even notice that anymore. And if this really bothers, you can always buy a extra set and replace them. Overall i am very happy with my purchases and would recommend both havit products with no hesitation.

  • this keyboard for a while now and I really like it. It’s stylish and the different colour modes

Delivered on a sunday morning even though it was free delivery. Impressivekeyboard came well packaged, looked very professional. Went for a mechanical keyboard without frills. Not interested in the lighting options and don’t really use them. Only a few modes, pulsing or 3 brightness levels. Colours not programmable like the fancy ones, probably keeps the price down. Very solid base, feels very well built. So far no dodgy keys, everything works great. A good choice for the price.

I always preferred to support smaller companies rather than popular brands, as long as they can deliver in quality. I am very happy with the purchase. I never had a mechanical keyboard before and i am not disapointed. It looks and feels very sleek and stylish. And of course as any other mechanical keyboards this is one is quite loud too so please do not buy it if you have babies which are sleeping.

This is my first mechanical keyboard, and i must say this keyboard has provided me some extra edge playing fps games compared to my previous non-mechanical keyboard. Really nice clicky feeling and responsibe buttons are welcome change if you are especially into fps games.

I have been using this keyboard for a while now and i really like it. It’s stylish and the different colour modes are great, although i mostly stick on green. It’s my first mechanical keyboard and i’m more than happy with the purchase more than a year on. One thing i will mention is that maybe once every few weeks, i will have to unplug the keyboard and plug it back in again because it simply doesn’t turn on when windows boots, thought it might have been a problem with my computer but it happens on multiple devices. Other than that, there’s no problems to reportpros:- great upgrade from a traditional keyboard. – great variety of coloured back lighting (or you can completely turn the back lighting off). – very strong and durable thanks to the metal coating. Cons:- every now and then (once a week maybe) i have personally had to unplug and re plug the keyboard in again as it did not power up on start up, this has happened on my main desktop and also my laptop, not sure if anyone else has ran into the problem though.

Nice and sturdy keyboard, looks great not cheap at all. Clicky switches (not a cherry mx, but very good clone). I would recommend to every one.

Good build quality (metal base and good quality braided cord) good tactile response, worked straight it of the box. The lighting effects look good and are easy to swap between.

While i wouldn’t call myself a gamer, i usually buy gaming keyboards because they tend to offer a backlight. I am a programmer, which means that i type a lot and sometimes i have to work at night, so key illumination is a feature i appreciate. My previous keyboard was a sidewinder x4, which while decent for a rubber dome implementation, had the fatal flaw of non standard key sizes and distances. Keys were a little smaller and packed close together, increasing the probability of accidental presses. So, after many ctrl + zs and backspace presses, i decided to get something more suited for typing. My first impression with the kb366l was that it is built like a tank. This thing weights a ton, it’s by far the heaviest keyboard i’ve ever tried. Its shell is made entirely out of metals and it has a pretty good finish to it. The keycaps are not as impressive, as they are a little on the thin side and they wiggle more than usually when siting on top of the switches. I wouldn’t call them bad though, they certainly get the job done.

It’s not bad at all, looks pretty feels nice to type with. A little loud but thats because of the switches and i knew that going in.

Over the last few years the chinese have been able to break away and set up independent companies, take advantage of expired patents and produce incredibly quality goods at incredible prices. Basically we now have the experience of one off whole sale to the western consumer. This keyboard is excellent quality. It is incredibly priced and incredibly well built. If you’re in the market for a mechanical keyboard i honestly stress you give this consideration. >be advised there are no macro keys and the @ symbol is american set.

i was kindly sent this product in exchange for an unbiased review. The product arrived when i was expecting it and when i opened the packaging, i was not disappointed. I was greeted with a well protected keyboard box that had a big picture of the keyboard on the front. Once i opened the box, i found the keyboard and the wire nicely wrapped up. The keyboard itself is very good. It has very clicky keys and they are also quite loud too. There are some lighting modes on the keyboard but they are not the greatest. I liked to have them on one solid colour instead of having any animations. The only thing that needs to be added to this keyboard is a wrist rest, apart from that this keyboard is a very good value for money.

After receiving a faulty model, i recieved a replacement with no problems and it works perfectly. A good solid clicky noise (it’s quite loud), very comfortable to type with and looks the part with the rgb lighting. Would be great if the lighting setting was remembered for each time i boot up but that’s a minor irritation. It’s very heavy and sturdy too which is great.

For the money you can’t go wrong.

Modern keyboards break way too easily, this type of keyboard is well worth the investment as it can be easily repaired and looks like it could withstand even the worst of gaming induced rages.

I use this keyboard for gaming and for typing. While it is a bit loud, that is due to the switches used and the noise is quite handy as it allows you to hear when you have pressed down a button. This will help you to get rid of your membrane ways of pressing the key down ultra hard to register your keystroke, and you will type much quicker once you learn how much pressure you need to put down on the keys. In terms of gaming, it performs just fine. Due to the switches if you are pressing the same key in rapid succession, you may find it a little clunky but aside from that it’s pretty much perfect. The lighting features are awesome and there are many presets to choose from (multicolour always on, multicolour pulsing, single colour always on, single colour pulsing , cycling through all the colours pulsing). I personally have mine set to red to match my pc case, headset, mouse etc. But there is tons of colour customisation to be had here. If you want a mechanical keyboard for a very good price, that is simple, not cluttered with extra keys and has good customization options, you should definitely buy this.

Absolutely brilliant for the price. While i was initially skeptical of the average rating, given that some of the reviews look sponsored, they seem to indeed reflect the quality of the product. Not entirely sure of its durability as i am still in the first week of using it, but the build quality is great, the switches are very satisfying to use, and the rgb leds are a nice (yet not essential) touch. As most of the features have been reviewed at significant depth, i will only touch on some of my impressions: it works reasonably well out of the box with os x, with the win key being automatically mapped to cmd. Remapping the function keys is pretty easy through several applications (see ‘karabiner’), which can restore the media, volume, and brightness functionality found on mac keyboards. The blue switches are generally too loud for some, so it might be a good idea to watch a sound test on youtube before purchasing. Finally, due to its height, the keyboard is not particularly ergonomic, but this can easily be addressed by using a wrist rest. Overall, i am very pleased with the purchase.

This keyboard is amazing, shame the enter key is a bit funny, i always miss click enter when i go for the ‘ ‘ ‘ button, other than that it’s responsive and robust, i’ve had it about 5 months now, and it’s never failed me once(though the weight of it nearly destroyed my glass desk when i dropped it).

Really good keyboard and its also cheap but strong as hell – i recommend this gear .

Amazing keyboard 100% worth it amazing price and amazing overall solid construction and the rgb just brings it to life, the only things i would change is a uk layout or a set of uk key caps and maybe a custom program for the rgb lighting.

Unlike other mechanical keyboards in this price range, this one is actually good. The tactile feedback is perfect and comfortable, and the build is solid and high quality. Fortunately there are many rgb led configurations varying in deign, colour, pattern and brightness. This is for the best as the one shown in the photo isn’t the best style. They’re usable, but feel thin. The font on them is quite hideous. Unfortunately, to fix this, i’m looking at buying some new ones, but havit must have done something right if buying a whole keyboard is cheaper than buying one box of keycaps.

I’m not a massive gamer and didn’t even know about mechanical keyboards before i started looking for a new one, previously i’d had a normal membrane type keyboard which had a very wooden feeling to the keys and i was never happy with it but didnt know any better, lol. I ended up ordering 4 keyboards for comparison and choosing the havit as my favourite. I love the metal case, the rgb led affect is really nice that lights up under the keys as well as lighting through the key caps in different colours which is great for typing in a dimly or dark room, you can adjust the colours and brightness to suit your needs very easily but they do not remember your setting’s after turning you pc off,it is quite a noisy keyboard when upgrading from a standard membrane keyboard but you soon get used to it and its really nice feedback when typing. I found and bought some special silicon washers which you fit under each key cap that help to lessen the loud clack when the keys bottoms out although i am a heavy typer and might not affect you as much. I can definately type faster now. I wouldn’t call it a hardcore gamers keyboard, having no dedicated macro or media keys although the win lock is very handy. I would have liked the keyboard to have a bit of a surround with maybe a wrist rest. This keyboard isn’t perfect but for the price its pretty awesome and bring a bit of colour and style to a boring desktop peripheral along with practicality improvements, definately worth ordering to see if you like it.

Packaging was amazing felt like a apple product. Sounds and feels good weighs a lot super heavy and steady. But it’s not cherry mx blues but there identical.

You can go into bgs with it and lay waste.

The keys are removable and with no trim around them making cleaning easy. There are many touches of quality here and the led’s are bright on the full setting. I prefer 1 solid color for my keyboard and there are 7 to choose from as well as cycling modes and pulse options. The keys make a satisfying click and are responsive but the base impresses me the most with a brushed metal finish and rounded plastic bumpers on the corners. I’ve knocked off a point from my overall score as there are some dinks along the top and bottom edges into the metal. It’s not so bad that i will notice during normal use though so i won’t return it. Overall a great product and although i would have 5 starred this if i could have set individual key colors or even had some optional colored ‘w,a,s and d’ keys as this always makes a keyboard better in my opinion, for the price i’m very happy.
