Logitech G700s Rechargeable Gaming Mouse – – 5 Star product and a must have
It is, as others have said, amazingly comfortable. It also has side-scrolling (tilt-wheel). I initially didn’t think it did because the decals on the mouse aren’t clear like other logitech mouse are with the little arrows, but it does, which is so great. As of now i’ve had it for 3 days and the battery is low, but i bought some eneloop pro 2500mah batteries which should last a bit longer. I’d say it could last maybe 5 days on a charge with a good battery, which is totally fine. It is also quite heavy, which i don’t mind as i was using the logitech g500s previously (which developed the infamous high-pitched sound) which is also pretty heavy. It’s not like a brick though, really it’s fine, you get used to it.
They are super comfortable, very accurate and come with some nice software. Howeverthis is probably my 4th or 5th one, not of this same model, but models prior to it. They all had one major flaw to them even new models, the main buttons end up being too sensitive after wear and you end up doing a double click when you only wanted to click once. I am hoping this ones lasts me longer than 6 months before it does the same as they are not cheap to keep replacing like old batteries.
I love logitech products, i am a huge fan of their build quality. Coming from a logitech anywhere mx, it took me some time to get used to the size of the g700s. I like the button mappings, most of them are easy to reach and press. The battery life on wireless is fairly decent, i actually use it more on wireless than on wired. I mostly play dota 2 with this mouse, and it performs great. Overall, i’m very happy with this product.
Got this as a replacement for the g700, have to say if your like me and think you can simply unplug the g700 and plug in the 700s and away you go. . Well you’ll be annoyed as you can’t. The mouse is great but the logitech gaming software youy have to use is horrid, without it you cant really use the mouse as only half the buttons work, and unlike before with my 700 and setpoint where you could place profiles on the mouse itself you can no longer do this and profiles are saved to the local hard drive instead. Pointless then if you want to take the mouse and use on another computer etc. Basically i love the mouse, love the button placements and the ability to have either wired or wireless. But the software is what ruins it, with constant crashes which require system reboots to sort out and the lack of being able to alter pointer speeds and turn off acceleration etc etc the lgs (logitech gaming software) has all by itself made my next gaming mouse purchase anything but a logitech, which is sad as iv’e used logitech gaming mice for about 10 years now.
Good quality gaming mouse with many modes and settings. Feels great in the hand ad at £50 was cheaper than most places like the logitech website which charges £90. I think £50 is a fair price, i would not pay anymore for a mouse. You expect good quality for £50 and with this mouse you get it.

For 6 years i used the ‘legendary best mouse of all time’ logitech mx revolution. (it is so good that, years after it ceased production, a few unopened boxes appear for sale at ridiculous prices of hundreds of pounds/euro/dollars: a caveat is that their aged batteries, main issue of this model, are unlikely to perform. After some years the mx battery started failing. It is not easy to get a replacement battery and to dismantle the unit and change it. Even worse, problems develop whereby the replaced battery after a short while starts having troubles and hardly recharges at all. The solution is to bang the unit flat against a table: after a while this manoeuvre is needed daily and eventually the unit breaks down. It was high time to ditch the old mx. After much searching, i found that this was the recommended replacement and bought it from amazon. Shape, size and weight are very similar indeed.
So when my mx510 died, i was looking for a replacement. Saw this and thought i’d try a wireless house for my gaming. It arrived and i popped it on charge overnight and the next day i was good to go. First impressions are good, it seems well built (like all logitech mice) if a little light. Response is good using wireless, it also comes with a cord you can plug in to the base of the mouse which allows you to use it while its charging (although the card is a little stiff and can occasionally hamper mouse movement) the internal battery. This internal battery is the biggest flaw for the device, it doesn’t hold a charge for very long, 2-3 days at most. I am going to put a higher mah rated battery in to see if that improves battery life. The bundled software is good allowing you to have profiles stored in the mouse or on your pc.
I originally purchased this mouse from amazon around a year ago, but unfortunately had to return it owing to the product having been defective upon arrival. Thankfully amazon’s customer support were very helpful and communicative whilst i requested a return of the product, and later i purchased the mouse somewhere else for a very good price. The buttons have a nice tactility to them, and i think it’s quite attractive; the design on the spine of the mouse looks very nice. The sensor is also very good, with the mouse having surprisingly little input latency when used wirelessly – it truly feels better than a lot of wired mice do. The software is also very good. Whilst it’s not as intuitive as razer synapse and recording macros is nowhere near as simple, it does offer a great variety of control and the option to download and use previously created profiles on a game-by-game basis is very useful. Unfortunately the mouse does have its downsides too. The included microusb cable fits the mouse very nicely and is of a decent length, but unfortunately it’s not as flexible as i would like it to be – when using the mouse as it’s charging, the cable tends to get in the way a little bit and just make the mouse feel heavier and clunkier because of how it inhibits movement. The mouse also has some issues with wireless connectivity from time to time, which is strange as it’s less than a meter away from the wireless transceiver at all times.
It was a life saver in my case. I bought it 2 weeks before braking my wrist. I had to use the mouse and keyboard with one hand and the macro keys were perfect for that. I managed to continue working with no issues after a couple of hours of adjustment. The ease of changing keys and profiles is really usefull and the overall responsivenes of the mouse is impressive. Only problem is that the battery dies extremely fast but that is saved by the option to use it as wired mouse while charging.
Been using this mouse now for a good few months to play counter-strike: global offensive and for general pc use. Set to a low dpi setting for general use i can get a whole day or two from the battery. When playing go however i pump up the dpi a little (to only about half of what the mouse is actually capable of) and after 3 or 4 hours of gameplay at that setting the mouse is dead. So long as you remember to plug in the usb cable to let it charge when not in use i doubt this will be a problem for most users but don’t expect a full day of gaming on the higher dpi settings. The mouse is fairly weighty and feels familiar having been a logitech mouse user for many years (mx510, mx518, g5, and now g700). And i’ve not really noticed any delay in the pointer movement (though gaming purists would likely say otherwise).
Needed a replacement for my trusty logitech g7 which had lasted 12 years. Ergonomic design fits nicely in my palm. Buttons are well placed and tactile (4 x thumb, 3 times forefinger). 5 different profiles can be set up and selected. Scroll wheel can either be notchy or frictionless – i like both, using notchy for gaming and smooth for scrolling through long documents (easily selectable with button). My bf4 gaming has improved tremendously with this mouse. Only downside is poor battery life – i leave mine wired overnight to charge up. Could probably do with upgrading to a better aa rechargeable battery. Other than that minor gripe i’m very impressed, software works well too. Wish i’d bought one years ago at this price.
It’s eating any shop batteries for breakfast (duracells especially)
so, if you’re planning to use it, then better buy rechargeable batteries with higher power capacity (the one included wasn’t very solid). As i’m using mouse wireless all the time i barely used usb cable to charge battery, but it’s working and is quite efficient. Mouse itself is outstandingly well designed and fits hand very well. All buttons are nicely positioned. Well, maybe without the most first one button on top. For short fingers hand could be hard do reach without some training ;)i’m using it to play with guild wars 2 especially. Provided drivers are very good and easy to manage so i didn’t have a problem t o setup my shortcuts. Also mouse have nice possibilities to optimize battery usage which that i found very recently. I had razor naga (cabled version) which was really nice, but.
Bought for my partner and he really likes it. A lot of mice are small and feel really flimsy but this one fits comfortably in the hand and the ergonomically placed buttons are intuitive to use and easily programmable to personal preferences. Unlike the previous logitech gaming mouse he had it does not have a charging cradle, it charges via a cable plugged into the front of the mouse. The mouse can be used with or without it plugged in, it does not interfere with use and means you don’t have to worry about the mouse dying on you mid gaming session. All round a good comfortable sturdy mouse that had lasted well. Here are the specifications for the Logitech G700s Rechargeable Gaming Mouse –:
- Make sure this fits
by entering your model number. - Customisable controls at your fingertips
- Instant in-game sensitivity switching
- Ultra-durable and comfortable design
- Dual-mode scroll wheel

The best feature of this mouse is a scroll wheel with a horizontal tilt, which means two very well positioned buttons that you can press easily without changing a grip (as opposed to thumb buttons). This can be very useful for frequently used key press combinations, such as copy/paste, page up/down, etc. As for the shape, it took me a while to get used to ‘ergonomic’ shape of the mouse, as it is not very good for fintertip users. The only usable way to grip a mouse (for me at least) is to fingertip with a thumb on top ridge, slightly behind g8 button, a ring finger on the ridge below rightclick button, and pinky (curled) on the mouse mat for stabilisation. This allows for a precise and quick control of the mouse and at the same time keeps the wrist in a more natural position (no twisting, which happens if your thumb is touching the dedicated thumb area). I wonder when someone will finally make a simple shaped mouse (e. Microsoft wheel mouse optical), light-weight, with good sensor and the tilt wheel.
Have been using it for over a year now and am so glad i went for iti have always bought logitech mice. They suit my grip type and hand size and have always been of the highest quality. I had been using the trusty mx518 for a number of years, but decided i wanted a wireless mouse to give more freedom. I play fps games, so a good polling rate and low latency were a must, and this was why i had previously not bought wireless mice. The g700s met all of my needs. It is comfortable, smooth, precise and low latency. I use it as a wired mouse with my desktop most of the time, but remove the chord when gaming. The mouse then runs for several hours on wireless mode: i never had to plug the wire in mid sessionso in short, i love this mouse. If you are looking for a high performance, gaming rechargeable wireless mouse, look no further.
Brilliant mouse, easily the best wireless mouse i’ve ever owned as it can be plugged in on the fly when you inevitably forget to charge it and it just keeps going. Lots of buttons if your into that although i don’t use them all (left and right, click able mouse wheel that can tilt left and right also, 3 extra buttons on left of the left mouse button, 4 buttons near the thumb position and 1 behind the wheel although it is next to a button which is used to allow the mouse wheel to spin freely so isn’t that useful even if you wanted to use it). The only downside i can think of is that like a lot of logitech mice is very right hand orientated so if your left handed and want to use the mouse in your left hand then this isn’t the mouse for you.
Customisation options are fantastic, allowing you to use various profiles for different applications and scenarios or even if you just want a profile which will save battery for when you are on the go. Battery life is not fantastic when it is running in normal power saver mode but this is understandable giving that the response rate is very good. This is not comparable to bluetooth mice where the refresh rate just does not cut it. Allowing you to use the mouse cabled was the killer selling feature for me (especially useful if you are plugging it into a device which only has one usb such as a surface pro 3).
Always had wireless mouse but non gaming, recently started thinking i need one with extra buttons to access options in games easier. This has really fitted the bill well. I compared it with several options on the market and this had great feature set for price. Charge/data cable is great quality, the moulding of the end which engage with mouse is well designed to allow zero movement if using mouse with wire. I could really tell the difference of using the higher dpi modes and was impressed by them. The software is great at setting up profiles for games, these apply automatically or you can set profiles to the onboard memory as well, to apply manually. Changing dpi on the fly is such cool feature, still getting to grips using/tuning feature. Physically the textured coating on sides of mouse is great for grip, when comparing this with other mice liked the size and location of the buttons by thumb area. Due to the polling speed of mouse battery life is not in same league as non gaming wireless mice but not an issue in my books. Even with 25% showing was able to get good 1hr gaming session with capacity leftover.
I love this mouse, so fantastic. I use it at home for hmong as well as carrying it to work for, well. Large size means it is much easier to palm grip or fingertip grip, meaning claw grip is a thing of the past with this mouse. Battery easily lasts all day, often two. The battery indicator isn’t very good, as i will sometimes unplug the mouse in the morning, use it through out the day, and then get at ‘25% battery remaining’ notification on my pc, but t is still good to go for another day. It sad lag fee wireless, and it definitely is. Haven’t noticed any mouse lag, except when i fort plug it in at hone/work and it takes a moment for it to start working properly. Use it with a wireless headset (g930 also from logitech) and no problems there. Buttons all fairly easy to reach, but the front ones easier.

EXCELLENT REPLACEMENT FOR OLD MX REVOLUTION

A very average mouse if you ignore the cost, for the money I think you can do better elsewhere.

BEWARE

Good button layout with a lot g buttons that you can change. It is large and the right size for my large hand. Can be used as a wired usb mouse when needed. However it does run out of battery really quickly and you have charge it a lot compare to other gaming mice. The reason why i got this one was because of the hyperscroll wheel which this one have and i find it useful.
I’ve yet to come across a more ergonomic mouse. There is no issues with the pointer at all-it doesn’t skip or stutter. The logitech gaming software could be better but is still pretty decent. Positioning of the buttons is good-they’re there when you need them but out of way when you don’t-and after you program them to your own needs they become very intuitive after a while. It works and gets the job done. Battery life could be much better, especially at higher insensitivity settings. Surprisingly works as good wireless as it does wired. Upgraded to it from a vanilla g700 and would happily do it again.
This is obviously a quality mouse. Everything from the box it arrives in to the texture of its upper surface suggests that expense has not been spared by logitech. However, i would suggest they increase the battery life as it only lasts for a day or so. This isn’t a major problem because the cable can be connected to charge it while you continue to use the mouse, but it is a thick and therefore less flexible cable which you can feel hindering the movement a bit. Overall i am satisfied with this bit of kit, but would personally like logitech to make a less complicated version with better battery life, just as they used to.
I don’t use this mouse for gaming very often but i wanted a good quality wireless mouse and this fits the bill perfectly. The dual function scroll-wheel (either line by line ‘clicking’ or free wheeling to scroll quickly) is a useful feature as are the multiple extra buttons. I’ve found the battery life to be decent for normal usage but as i can still use the mouse while it’s plugged into a usb wall charger battery life isn’t an issue for me.
Superbthis mouse has everything and does everything the average person could possibly need it for. While it only has 5 programmable memories onboard, (3. Why would you need more than 5?.Because in-game and in-work and in-browsing settings need 2 or 3 each) they can be loaded from disk, or you can use application specific ones from the computer – that means that is i go to my friends, i can take my mouse, and it will have the settings there that it does at home, or you can use it at home on your pc, get the train to the office and browse on your laptop, get to work and use your pc there – all with one mouse, with 5 settings all the same on all the machines – geniusmy favourite part is the unlockable scroll wheel – click the button, spin it up, and it will go through 50 pages of a pdf or webpage before is stops spinning – geniusbest buy ever.
Needs a lot of recharging but otherwise a great mouse. However the software is rubbish and keeps resting the profiles saved on the mouse’s internal memory (more specifically it resets the dpi sensitivity) every time you restart your pc. Others are complaining of the same problem on their website but nothing is being done. My fix was to uninstall the software after setting the profiles i wanted. The problem is for people who need the software for their gaming keyboards (which i don’t own). Otherwise the build in memory was great for using the extra buttons on other oss like linux that are not supported by most manufacturers.

Great mouse, very responsive and has a good weight/feel to it. The big downfall and reason for 4 stars is the battery life is awful. Coming from an mx revolution this is a better mouse all round but having to charge every other day is a bit of a pain, the old mx lasted for a good week. Turning the polling down to 200 helps a lot with battery life (would say a 1/3 longer).
I have bought many thousands of mice over the years as i work in it, however i haven’t really paid attention to keyboards and mice for five plus years as it’s been enterprise sans, cisco core network switches and servers costing millions, not a mouse costing £50. Shame, as i doubt i would have bought this for the price if i had know it’s flaws. The battery life is terrible – i have a really nice little microsoft mouse for my laptop (wireless mobile mouse 4000) and the aa battery in that has lasted a year, lugged across the country and bashed about all over the place. Use this mouse for a day and the eneloop pro 3200 nimh rechargeable mouse is done, so if someone uses the computer and forgets to plug it in overnight your wireless mouse has to be used wired. Ergonomics are good but the rough coating on the parts your thumb and fingers come into contact with aren’t particularly nice – no audi style soft touch plastics here, more bottom of the shampoo bottle. The buttons have decent click-ability and the mouse tracking action is good, although the heavy charging cable negates that when you’re out of charge. So, i consider this mouse average and for the money i think you can do better elsewhere.
I own a razer deathadder chroma which is itself a fantastic mouse, but i wanted something wireless and with more functionality for when i wasn’t gaming. This mouse delivers in style. I’ve always been a fan of logitech products and the same can be said here. The mouse is very comfortable to hold and makes my razer mouse feel uncomfortable when i go back to it by comparison. It doesn’t have any fancy lights of the razer but i can’t honestly say i’ve ever looked at my mouse enough to actually justify the extra cost to put some leds in. The mouse is fairly weighty. Not in a bad way, but compared with other mice i have used, this is on the heavy side. For me i see this as an upside as it enables me to have more controlled movement, but others may disagree. The main reason i picked up this mouse was the additional buttons. I often felt very limited with the 2 additional buttons on the razer mouse and this one works much better for me in terms of functionality having so many extra buttons (something like 7 extra).
Good product, does exactly what i expected. Only thing i had troubles with is starting point. I tried it on battery straight away – most of the buttons didn’t work (including sensitivity buttons). I all had to do is to connect it to a computer with usb cable, let it install all drivers (i had logitech gaming software installed as i own their g710+ keyboard) and everything started to work. I did not read instruction, but it should be one of first steps to prevent customers strugglign:1. Connect the battery (by pulling plastic strip)3. Switch on using physical button underneath4. Install logitech gaming software and connect your mouse to pc/laptop via usb cable provided.
I love the inertial and finite scrollwheel switch, super useful for browsing code and long documents. The precision is good, but the sensitivity switch does not seem to be clear to use. I don’t travel very much so this is my desktop mouse. I use it for software development and serious online browsing. Why wireless and so expensive?. I don’t like the wire tailing around all the time. But don’t mind having it in there for the recharging periods. The microusb charging is great because i can [reuse the cable for other devices. However i keep on forgetting to switch off the mouse if it is in wireless mode. ]
I bought this mouse after damaging my wireless microsoft 4000 mouse (or something like that). I think i used g700s for almost a year until i got frustrated with a game and knocked it flat on the desk once (wasn’t really hard but not the way to use any mouse) and all the buttons stopped workingpros:fast and sensitive and precise even directly on my desk surface as i don’t use any mouse pad – slides well as wellbeing wireless device it was great as i have quite small desk and cables from previous cheap mice always annoyed megood qualitynot bad pricecons:its relatively big (tall) and it took time to get used to it as i have rather small palmit also has ergonomic shape which didn’t work for me (used symmetrical mice before) but that’s personal thingbattery life is short – and its not very comfortable to play while charging as usb cable is quite thick. Battery lasts over a day when not gaming but when in game it goes down to one bar on battery indicator in around 3-4 hrs – you get warning pop-up when 10% annoying when in game (never tried to switch it off so no idea if possible to disable that)i tried to assign side buttons but didn’t work for some reasonafter i broke it i decided to go for wired but better quality mouse this time. I went for razer deathadder which cable is quite thin and flexible – best mouse so far.

Superb mouse and all settings are stored on the mouse therefore can be used with any devices without having to configure. Easy to configure using the logitech software. Easily chargeable using the cable.
I thoroughly enjoy using this mouse though the quality of the side buttons doesn’t have the usual logitech build quality i have come to know. This mouse also drains the battery really quickly and can get by on a mere 3 days of use before having to recharge it. The mouse itself is fast and responsive and a decent weight to hold that verges slightly on the heavier side. I would say that it is a good medium sized mouse that is extremely comfortable and a natural fit for the hand. The logitech gaming software while decent, doesn’t encompass all the possible options and while the mouse setup can be stored within the mouse itself the available options for this are limited compared to those you get to save on your computer.
Basically, it’s very good and what i wanted. I researched alternatives and this product was easily ahead. The reasons i didn’t give it the fifth star are: the shape of the mouse – it’s a lot rounder then i would like, at it’s peak it’s quite high above the surface. Some people may like this, i was coming from microsoft’s intellimouse which is flatter; the software is pretty good, though the system tray icon often disappears. Quite possibly this is a windows 8 issue rather than logitech’s fault; the four mouse buttons on the left are surprisingly small and close together. I can’t think of a good reason for this. There are no buttons on the right hand side of the mouse. Again, i can’t think of a reason to leave this area completely unused. I’m pleased with this mouse and i’m glad i bought it.
Love it, best mouse i’ve ever owned. Use it for a mixture of working from home and moderate gaming (fps, rts mainly). It chews through batteries though, so when working from home, it starts complaining about low charge if i want to game at night. That may just be the included battery though, altho it is an eneloop, so i’m surprised. Have just bought some 2000mah duracells, so fingers crossed. Even still, perfectly happy with it.
