Nikon 1 NIKKOR VR 30-110mm f/3 : 1 NIKON series

Great lens, got it for a bargain price.

Very good optically, and cheap, for a kit lens for nikon 1. My last one failed though and not from misuse, and nikon wanted 230 gbp to repair. I have concerns about the robustness of this and the 10-30 kit lens. This is my second from amazon: the unlocking button on the first felt and sounded sticky and noisy – unlike those on my other n1 lenses. The second was only marginally better. Now that nikon have closed the factory in china where these were made, it will be interesting to see how the supply of these goes – and it would seem repair of these is no longer viable.

Bought the j1 about twelve months ago but only with the 10-30 lens. What a difference the 30-110 makes to my photos. Excellent price and excellent service as always.

This lens was well worth buying as an addition to the 10-30mm lens supplied with the camera. As a novice to photography, i was amazed at the telescopic power when taking a picture of a seabird in flight.

Fits perfectly my nikon1 j5.

Easy to use and lightweight reducing potential for blurred images whilst in use. Good range of the zoom but when zooming in to the maximum on the actual photograph on screen, the image quality is grainy. Perhaps not unexpected when hand held. Overall, this is a good lens and extends the capability of the nikon 1 j1.

Tack sharp and light weight, so it’s easy to carry about. A useful lens for portraits without distortion. An essentiall extra for the superb series 1 nikon camera.

This is a great lens,snaps in to focus quickly. Lightweight and easily portable. Protected with a uv filter and ready to go.

Wow – it arrived way before i anticipated which is always a good thing – didnt choose any next day or expensive courier. It was really well packaged and protected and has completed my cameras lense requirements (for now).

I am very pleased with this lens. It is reasonably priced and is a vital piece of equipment for the nikkon 1, as it zooms in to a considerable degree.

Just what i was looking for.

Really impressed with this lense it’s a really solid lense and the picture quality is very good but the only set back is to get the full advantage of the full zoom you need a really clear and bright day. I do country scenes and this suits me fine using it along with the nikkor 10-30 lense on my nikon 1 j2 camera. I do have a bigger camera but use this for a4 shots because it is not to bulky to carry.

Really good and price effective, i should have buy it earlier. This lens brings the camera output to its full potential.

Enhances usability of nikon j5. Great mid distance pictures. Not super zoomed but significantly greater than standard level. A bit pricey as nearly as much as the camera itself but to be expected for a good quality lense.

This is a stunning lens, producing really superb results. I’m using it on a j2, with images saved as raw and jpg (fine). Using photoshop at full zoom (to individual pixel level) there is no loss of focus, no chromatic aberration and no loss of colour saturation or contrast when the lens is at full zoom. The zoom ring is positive, slightly stiff – but acceptable. The anti-vibration system is excellent, on full zoom even at 100 asa the image was still sharp when hand held. The focal length of this lens makes it the perfect lens for close-ups. I recently took some photographs of our family in the swimming pool on holiday, and they are some of the best i have taken for a long time. This is because the long focal length lets you stay a long way from your subjects so they forget you are are there, taking pictures of them. The results are more natural and relaxed. Also, by setting your camera to shutter priority and selecting a fast shutter speed you can make the lens aperture stay wide open, so reducing the depth of field.

For the price of it, this is must have lens for any of the nikon csc cameras.

This is a fantastic lens, really ads another dimension to my j2, i can now get close in to the action, great sharp results.

The nikon 1 is my favourite camera i have four nikons the 30-110 lens enables me to get the photos i have always wanted of the heron in my fish pond.

Normal lense on camera wasn’t good for fat moving things. This is much better with the wider lense. A bit expensive but worth it.

Bought this as a longer lens for my nikon 1( got a warranty too) and it fit, works perfectly i cant wait to take to greece and see what colours and images are like only used in the garden as not been anywhere exciting to use it. Pleased with my purchase item arrived safe well packed and quick a good seller.

Works perfectly with my nikkor 1 camera, quality of photos compared to the 11-27mm lens is unbelieve. Of course i would rather have one lens than two and have to swap them around but for the difference that it makes, i’m happy to do that.

Excellent glass, as you’d expect from a nikor lens. A perfect match for the v1 camera.

Warrantee is with the seller and not with nikkon as this is a lens split from a twin pack. Was a bit worried initially, but good contact with supplier put my mind at ease.
