Corsair Gaming CH-9000220-UK K95 RGB Cherry MX Performance Multi-Colour RGB Backlit MMO/RTS Mechanical Gaming Keyboard UK : Veneance K95 RGB programmable keyboard.

Seriously, this keyboard has legitimately blown my mind. After living with a rubbish old generic keyboard that you’d probably find in a school, and upgrading my set up just a month ago, i decided to invest in a top of the line keyboard. After doing some serious research into switches, learning the benefits of mechanical keyboards, and reading some neutral non-bias reviews, i came across corsair’s k range. Knowing about corsair’s serious reputation, i decided to go with my gut and buy one of these babies. I went with the cherry mx brown switches, after going into a store and trying out both the red and brown switches and, out of personal preference, found the brown switches really clicked with me and made typing feel effortless. Corsair also have an executable known as corsair utility engine (cue) that allows you to seriously customise your keyboard’s colours, and macros. The sound control located on the top right side of the keyboard is also bliss, and is great for quickly changing the volume and tunes coming through your pc. The keyboard also has on-board memory, which allows you to save three profiles to your keyboard itself, and also allows you to save others within the cue itself. The macros are easy to programme, and are seriously worth the extra money for them. I play a lot of wow, lol etc and the macros are just a life saver.

Whilst the price is high in anyone’s books for a keyboard, this keyboard is literally the best keyboard i’ve ever used. I was on the fence about getting a mechanical keyboard, but now i own one, i couldn’t’ go back to a membrane keyboard. I had tried a razer blackwidow chroma in a shop and was really disappointed with the wobbly keys and poor/cheap build quality. It just felt like a poorly glued together lump of wobbly plastic. I was afraid the corsair was going to be the same, but i was very pleased. The chassis of the unit is made from sturdy aluminium, it’s heavy and stays in place during long gaming sessions. I’ve had the keyboard for months now and all the lights still work and all the keys do too. Some users had reported some keys failing after very short periods, but i have not had this problem. The cherry mx red keys are amazing. There is no resistance on he way up or down so you don’t get that nasty feeling when you have to force down a key like you do on membrane keyboards.

I’ve owned a few mech keyboards (cmstorm, razer blackwidow) – this is better, much better. Use it for twitch shooters like doom and overwatch, survival games like ark and 7dtd, moba’s including lol etc, perfect in all of them. Only reason i’ve given it 4 out of 5 is the cost. Not exactly a cheap product.

I love this keyboard, it looks amazing and feels great to type with. I dont really use the extra keys on the side but i do like how it looks and it gives me more space to rest my hand on. The cue2 software is relatively easy to use and i haven’t had many problems with it.

This is a great keyboard which has been well designed and thought out. With the base being made of aluminium gives it that solid feel and enough weight that it doesn’t move about and with the led’s on permanently does warm up either. The keys are nice, but a bit more squashed together than my old standard microsoft business keyboard. This has taken a little while to adjust too, but the most annoying thing is that it has a tendency to double the characters typed. The most noticeable has been the letter ‘o’, which even after a few months still does it. This quirk aside, it has everything you could wish for, programmable keys (which are programmed through the very nice corsair interface). The led’s are amazing with no dull areas, the range of colours and effects are truly stunning and wouldn’t look out of place at a nightclub. There are too many features for me to cover here, but needless to say, you will not be disappointed. Even after having it a few months i am still finding functions that i didn’t know it had.

One of the best keyboards i’ve had. My first mechanical keyboard, i was a bit worried about the loud clicking i’ve heard them make from various sources. After careful consideration i decided to take the plunge and go for one after finding out there are ways of reducing the sound. I chose the corsair as it covered everything i need and more, the macro keys are smooth and accessible , the lighting software takes a little getting used to but once you do its damned amazing what you can get it to do.

This is simply the best keyboard i have ever owned. For gaming it is the mutts spherical objects. The keys are responsive, and the software from corsairs website to configure the key lighting is real simple to use. My only gripe is the heavy usb cord. The cord is thick and stiff and terminates in two usb plugs. However despite the cord issue i would highly recommend this keyboard to any serious gamer.

Awesome keyboard would recommend it, the keys are slightly smaller than my logitech g19 again it’s about adapting to the new layout but that’s my problem after 7 years of the g19 which still works perfectly fine, i felt like treating my self to something new and flashy :dthey say that the software could be easier to use that’s probably correct but that’s nothing which a selection of you tube videos can’t solve. I actually watched all the video on you tube i could find before deciding to add the k95 to my shopping basket. I didn’t know anything about the mx keys but it’s a big deal, i’ve noticed a big improvement in my on line gaming, i actually use the corsair scimtar that i purchased at the same time as the k95. I play fps games and find it a very comfortable combination ref (arma 3 breaking point).

This was my sons birthday request and it’s quite a lot to invest in a keyboard but, apparently, gamers benefit from these programmable keys and heavy duty micro switches so i ordered it through amazon and it was, safely and securely, delivered to my home address. So in the words of my son:the best keyboard i have ever owned, by far. I always research products before buying them and as usual i spent a fair bit of time researching the different types of switches, and the different types of led’s and the noise they key presses make. I went right through all of the variations of keyboards from all the different brands and just about come to the conclusion that this was the best one for me,i am so glad that i came to that conclusion as this keyboard is superb. Corsair are well known for the high quality builds of their brands and this is no different, everything about it feels premium. The brushed alloy looks amazing and they wrist rest even looks like a lot of effort went into it to match the rest of the keyboard. The best bit about this keyboard for me though is the full rgb led’s. Not only do you get to change a few things but this is fully customisable, everything can be changed in the software and you can even download ready made custom led profiles from the website. I honestly cannot recommend this keyboard highly enough, and if you can afford it, asit is not cheap, then look no further than this top piece of gaming kit. So the family gamer has given it his seal of approval.

Was very exited when i received my keyboard and even more so when i tried it out, its my first mechanical keyboard and i only wish i changed sooner. Leds look amazing with the variety of modes. Additional 18 keys are slightly lowered so you know when the keyboard ends and the extra keys begin. This for me was incredible as i tried out other keyboards and i would get lost on the keyboard but no more. Wrist rest is very well made and sturdy along with the keyboard as it has a aluminum build 5/5 for a gaming keyboard with lots of customization options.

Man this keyboard is amazing, the rgb lights. The design plus all the extra things in itjust in love with this thingworth the money.

This being the first mechanical keyboard i have owned has really surprised me. There is a real feel of having actually hit these keys and i highly recommend it to anyone and everyone. I use this for both writing and for gaming and it just works brilliantly for both.

Switching to mechanicals keys is so nice, feels great to type. Mx browns are awesome, love the tactile feel. The lights are cool and very customizable. I have most of them programmed for various things. I use the volume wheel so often.

Ill keep this short, purchased as a replacement. As a keyboard it looks fantastic, and if you can get your head around the config utility then its incredibly advanced and customisable compared to any other rgb. Nice aluminium feel chassis and backplate. Cherry mx switches are limited in variety but, they are as you would expect from any cherry switch. The problems started when i had keys,(specifically the extra g keys) randomly start activating themselves without my hands being on the keyboard, they would require a few firm presses to rectify. I could only repeatedly see this happening on the g keys. Only had it for a couple of months before i noticed the issue which isn’t massively promising for the lifespan of a £190 keyboard. So in short, fantastic in design, customisation and if you like the switches on offer then it may be perfect for you, however be mindful of potential dodgy under hood build quality hidden by a beautiful exterior.

I see people complaining about the software but if you do like 10 minutes of reading or watch a video on youtube you can easily figure out how to make your own basic color schemes and just import other peoples finished creations and pretend like you made them. Last thing left to do is put this thing on rainbow spiral mode and take lsd and try typing.

I got this keyboard back in 2014 and it is one of the best buys i have ever made i am using it ti this day with absolutely no faults to speak off. Very easy set up and beautiful design. If anyone is looking at this product and not sure its what they want because it is rather expensive i would have to say just buy it you will not regret it.

This was my first rgb keyboard, may i say out of all the other rgb keyboards, this is one of my favourites. Pricei think this keyboard is a bit over what it should be, £130 would be reasonable for this type of keyboard, but i guess compared with the rgb k70 you’re basically paying for macros, which add the £20. Feel 4/5the mx cherry keys make a very satisfying noise and once you have used this keyboard or a bit (2-4 days for me) you’ll get the feel of it, i had to switch from a bigger keyboard down to this and my fingers kept sliding, once you use this keyboard enough it stops happening. This keyboard is not a ‘silent’ keyboard, if you want a silent rgb, buy a corsair strafe. Led – 5/5from reviews i have heard, the rgb strafe, another corsair rgb keyboard has improved leds compared to the k995. The so called myth goes, after around 8 months, the leds in the k95 start to burn, if this is so i will be returning mine. But the leds currently look amazing, and partnered with the software that corsair provide, you can have endless fun. Software – 2/5if you plan to buy this keyboard, its best to watch the tutorials for the software whilst your keyboard is in delivery. Its complex and needs to be easier to use, there are buttons everywhere and you need extra help to learn. Extras -the scroll volume wheel is very easy to use but you have to scroll quite a bit because its not very sensitive.

This is the best keyboard i have ever had. I am glad that i went for this version. I find that the keys make just the right amount of noise, not too quiet, and not too loud. I like how easy i picked up the lighting software, as well as being able to download pre-sets that other people have already made. The wrist-rest it comes with is great. I’ve had no problems with typing for long periods of time like i have with previous keyboards.

Excellent keyboard – in daily use with no problems.

Best keyboard there is in my opinion.

This would be a 5 star review but the leds are very dark on the lower icons on keys, the keyboard doesn’t switch to the profile it’s supposed to a lot, the lights don’t work when my pc is locked. I now have an issue where the keyboard now randomly disconnects and the only way to fix it is to re-plug it in and then restart my pc.

After many reviews read i finally settled for the k95 rgb, so far its been great, i did however buy some o rings as the cherry mx reds where to loud for my liking but this keyboard does look amazing.

A very good key board with many options for lighting, it is also very pleasing to type with with good solid hard wearing keys, i would buy this again.

If your get one, the coolest theme i have seen is the rainbow audio spectrograph. You’ll work it out in google. The only downsides it has is the software stops working sometimes and you need to reboot. The macro key area feels like a bit of a cheap addon because the frame for the normal part of the keyboard is beautiful brushed black aluminium but the macro key area is just a plastic piece attached to what would otherwise be a k75 (or whatever the model without macro keys is) go have a look at some photos of the keyboard closel 😉 i got a uk layout, which threw me, but i’m getting used to it. Now i wonder if i should have got a german one but i read this one is better for programming.

So, i’ve had this keyboard for a year, which is more than enough time to warrant a review. . What is this keyboard like. Firstly, its very well built. The cherry mx keys are wonderful to work and game on. However the macro keys are not cherry based. The rgb system is cool, allowing for infinite colour setups depending on what you are using the board for. And the corsair config app is easy to use. However, 12 months down the line the keyboard, whilst still working as a keyboard, has some problems. Some leds have blown, giving some keys a different hue.

It is beautiful and reliable, i bought the rgb version because i wanted a white backlight (which i couldn’t find anywhere else) and i was wondering if the red, green and blue leds were noticeable or if it just looked white – from a normal view it does look greenish white but after a few weeks – it looks white. Ability to have different modes and macros is a necessary feature this keyboard has, i have 2 game modes with backlights on important keys and a white background with key press animations for regular use. Looking at the preview photos it looks like the numbers aren’t lit up at all because of the positioning of the lights but the numbers are lit about 50% the strength of a normal key – which still makes getting this keyboard worth it. There is no click to the keypress and the noise of the key reaching the bottom is not too loud (note, if you want fully quiet you cannot use key dampeners without blocking the light)key light editing is easy – make sure you save modes to the keyboard memory (i didn’t realise this existed and had the default modes when starting up and stayed until i opened the keyboard editor)for games, this keyboard has an instant response and can be used professionally. The volume is done with a scroll and it is so useful to be able to manipulate volume quickly and precisely.
