Razer Orochi Bluetooth Gaming Mouse, Recommended

I bought this mouse as a replacement for my old optical mouse. It looks amazing, and feels great. It’s really stylish and the mouse is just the right size for my small hands. It’s built well, and comes with a cable. In wireless mode, it eats up battery like a monster. Alkaline batteries last a week. Rechargeable nimh last an hour, since the voltage is too low. It’s annoying and wasteful to use alkaline batteries all the time so i just keep the wire plugged in and may as well use a wired mouse. Also, i bought it since it boasts an amazing 6400dpi. I didn’t realise what this actually meant. Using the mouse in 6400dpi just means your cursor whizzes across your screen within a mm twitch of your mouse. There’s no need for this kind of sensitivity, and i had to turn it down to 3000dpi so i may as well have bought a cheaper mouse. Summary:it’s a great mouse, works and looks great. But perhaps, a luxury item i regret buying.
I recently bought guild wars 2 for mac which is a really good game, but the imac mouse isn’t very good for playing games. So i just needed a mouse that would be good for playing games. The orochi 2013 by razer is a very good choiceoriginally i thought it was a little over priced, but when you compare it to other devices out there it actually isn’t too bad. You are also getting a very well made product with this mouse. I also like the fact that this mouse can wither work via bluetooth or usb, so if the battery is running low you aren’t scrambling round for batteriesi would very highly recommend.
I have owned the previous razer orochi, and was always very pleased with it. I upgraded to this so that i could get higher dpi over bluetooth and it is superb. The only thing that i think could be improved is if it came with rechargeable batteries that could be recharged when running in wired mode. Apart from that – wonderful mouse.
Definitely would recommend this mouse. Its an odd shape, but a year on, with day to day use it still works perfectly. Shame the razer symbol doesn’t light up, but your hand is there anyway.
Great features and power full for such a small size. Bought this for my gf because she gas small arms.
Sensitivity randomly changes sending the mouse flying all over the place. The track wheel keeps activating whatever button is assigned to it not ideal. The buttons on the right hand side are completely unusable, i do not understand why they are even on the mouse no body can press these without practically letting go and repositioning your hand, the mouse is a lot smaller than i expected, having big hands this is a rather difficult mouse to use.
Best mouse not only for gaming but for travel and casual use.

Expensive yes, but with something like this you get what you pay for. Razer is qualitysuper accurate, even in bluetooth mode, plenty of configuration options. I play wow, diablo iii, lotro etc. Raid healing with this mouse is a breeze, if your after a smaller mouse and your a gamer this is your only option, highly recommendwhy only 4 stars and not 5?i had the previous version for nearly four years before the left button started getting less responsive after years of button mashingthe finish is ever so slightly different, more grippy, others will prefer that and i preferred the previous utility software compared to the current version, personal preference really, still the best on the market by a long way.
I’ve had this mouse for about 3 and a half years and it has always been reliable for me. Has been dropped and knocked countless times (very reassuring to know it can take a hit while on the go) still going strong. I travel with my laptop and game quite a lot too, always bring this mouse with me. The nice feeling texture is waring away however this mouse has been heavily daily for all these years so it is expected. It is a very small mouse especially for a gaming mouse. I absolutely love the small mouse because once you’re used to it you feel so in control. 10/10 will buy again when mine dies.
Another great bit of kit from razer, quality is great as you’d expect, performance is the same. I bought this for my windows 8 asus tablet, which as you would expect only has one micro usb port which is mainly used for charging. The bluetooth connected first time without bother, it connects once the tablet is turned on so no issues here. The only thing that isn’t fantastic is battery life, it does get through them fairly quickly if you use it heavily which i do. Sadly it won’t recharge batteries via usb so again another negative. Having said that i’m still not marking it down because i love it.
Amazing mouse, perfect precision and quality of performance, very easy pairing with bluetooth (please carefully read instruction how to do this), for me the perfect purchase and strongly recommended.
I game with this mouse on a daily basis and love it, programmable from the razer software. I also use it for work and being able to just unplug it and use it as a bluetooth mouse with my bluetooth keyboard is awesome. Works in both osx and windows 10 perfectly. It has two buttons either side of the mouse that can be programmed for macros, inputs or pretty much anything. Great mouse for both work and play.
Very lightweight, although the plastic feels a little cheap. Buttons click a bit ‘hollow’. Had problems on mac with the software. As a generic bluetooth device it is fine, but as soon as i installed the control panel it would auto disconnect after 30 seconds, and wouldn’t reconnect until i restarted. Uninstalling the software fixed this, although custom mapping etc is now not possible. Right click sometimes does a double right click, trying to figure out if this is software or hardware.

Although a little bit too smaller for my hand and the side buttons seem to be small as well. But i think i can get used to it.
It is the perfect mouse for gaming on the go. It is both wired and wireless which is convenient and also doesnt require the purchase of batteries.
Fits my small hands perfectly, though it is very light just like any laptop mouse so making the finite movements when using the adobe suite was a bit clumsy.
I purchased this mouse due to it being usb cable as well as wireless (bluetooth) and a nice size for my hands, not to big, also is classed as a gaming mouse, designed more for a laptop because it’s wireless and the usb cable quite short. It’s well built, great tracking, but i didn’t like the design of the sides, especially the right hand side with the ledge when you hold it. I use an imac, worked great for a while then i got the spinning wheel of death on the menu bar icon, so couldn’t adjust settings without uninstalling, so sent it back, also, not sure if it’s a good idea to run software from internet only. Uses 2 aa batteries in wireless mode which can make it a bit heavy.
I could say it’s not a bad mouse. It works well, wired and wireless. I like small mice, i feel them more comfortable. Not comfortable at all, especially when you use it for hours.
Who needs a big bulky mouse. This thing is a good medium size and is super accurate. Razer is a great manufacturer. Tip: use it without batteries and with the cable installed for best 1ms gaming response time :).
Do not buy if you just want it for the wireless aspect as mine does not work and the same with many others in the reviews. Nevertheless the mouse is good but i do have to use it wired which is annoying as i originally bought it for the wireless aspect. Wired, though this is still a very good mouse but beware the wire is quite short as it is a predominately wireless mouse.

Great product and good service.
