5 stars because the blue back-light cant be dimmed. It’s on or off and whilst on it’s very bright. Otherwise it’s a nice keyboard. Not what i’d call quiet or noisy. Doesn’t feel cheap or expensive. It is a laptop sized keyboard which is great if you don’t want your desk to be filled with a full size keyboard, which i don’t. Wanting a keyboard to actually write with and also game, i’ve found this to be good for both. I’m happy with this choice and would be happy to recommend it. Been using this for almost 2 years. After about 15 months the w key broke. Due mainly to excess gaming but i was able to glue it back on and it worked ok. Recently the back light has started to flicker around the enter/crtl keys area. It’s distracting, especially as i’ve taken to having the back light on to type with.

The keyboard came really fast, i checked all of the buttons and they all work apart from caps lock, when it is turned on the light doesn’t come on to show you that its on but the blue background works fine and everything else is ok.

The blue led light is bright, it shines up in your face. If i was actually needing backlighting, this one would be too bright for me. Otherwise, feels quality, f keys are well positioned for mmo gaming binds, and i really like how they’ve made it compact but still has a numeric keypad.

Love this keyboard, i use it in my amatuer radio room, i like to sit in a darkened room, but all other keyboards have been very hard to use, but this lights up lovely with enough brightness to illuminate the area around as well, although the keyboard is slightly smaller than the normal size it does no hinder the size of keys at all, it is well worth the money.

I’m conflicted about this product to say the least, the backlighting is just gorgeous. The keys at places require a harder touch at times, it’s compact so if your not used to smaller form keyboards it’ll take some time to get used to. It’s a pleasure to use when u get the hang of where the main keys areand the programmable feature is a pain in the **** you have to go to maxpoint. De to download software of which you need winrar to open (or something similar) the user interface is very and i mean very confusingit might just be me new to gaming keyboards but i feel that it could be simpleranyway if you purchase g’luck.

Amazing keyboard, this is the best quality back lighting i’ve seen in such a low price keyboard, the keys are a lot quieter than most (including an impressively quiet space bar)i’d highly recommend giving this a try.

I bought this product a couple days ago and loved it, no need to install any drivers or anything. Plugged it straight in and was able to use instantly. The keyboard has a nice feel to it when being used, and the keys are nice and quiet which is the reason i got this. I have not had a real chance to use the anti ghosting keys yet but i think the keyboard lights up really nicely and it nice and easy to see even if there is no other light source in the room. All round a fantastic product and i highly recommend it. The one very slight downfall to this was actually just the way amazon had packaged it but i have not let that effect my rating. The product dimensions are already listed and is a nice size keyboard and the product box is too a good size as it is only slightly bigger than the product itself, how ever the box it came in could have fitted 3 or even 4 keyboards inside rather than just the one.

I’ve had this keyboard just over two years now but it has now become faulty and unusable. However for the two years i’ve had it i’ve been very pleased with it. It has an excellent backlight, it’s a nice compact size, it has been quiet and comfortable to type with and it has a very stylish, elegant look. The size of it was the main reason i opted for this keyboard as i didn’t want a giant gaming keyboard taking up my whole desk and it has always been very convenient to just push to one side and use the desk for other things. The other reason i bought it was because it was still a ‘gaming’ keyboard and had anti-ghosting keys. I have done a fair bit of gaming on it and, for the most part it, it done its job. The only slight issue was that the w button could be a bit unresponsive at times and i’d have to press down harder to make it work. That brings me on to why it has stopped working, because the w button actually came lose during gameplay and basically made it unusable for gaming. Then i noticed the amount of dirt and ‘stuff’ underneath the keys and decided i needed to clean under there and proceeded to take off more keys to do the cleaning. The keys popped off easily enough but i noticed just how fragile looking the bits of plastic for holding them on are and sure enough when pressing the keys back on a couple of these bits of plastic broke off and left me with even more unusable keys.

This keyboard is amazing and silent and goes to show that some of the most cheapest keyboards are the best.

Does not have shortcut keys/function. But is a good quality basic keyboard with light up functionality. Shift key on the right is a little smaller and took me a little while to get used to.

A keyboard to someone who uses a pc a lot is like a extension of the user this keyboard to me is wonderful and has such a quality feeling about it. Simply because if i don’t like the texture/feel i dispose rapidly this one is a keeper. The led is just a bonus at night.Love how you can take the buttons out and configure them into any way you feel comfy with.

Had this for about a year and has been pretty average, however the s & d keys have been destroyed over time, developing holes in the top and constantly popping out. The backlight is pretty nice and it is fairly compact. For the price i would have hoped it would be a bit more durable.

Prior to this i had a black keyboard with white letters. Fine in good light, but without reading glasses i just could not see it in poor light. This keyboard when backlit is fantastic – better than my old keyboard in the best of lights. With a push button to turn the light on/off it really is the perfect solution for anyone who has a slight sight problem with conventional keyboards. Keyboard layout is slightly tighter than i am used to, but am gradually getting used to this.

Keysonic ksk-6001uelx compact gaming keyboard with blue backlightvery pleased with this keyboard. The backlight makes typing on these dark, dismal, winter days and long dark nights, so much easier. Its ‘footprint’ is small but the key size is standard, so no problems there. Fun to look at and greatly rewarding to use – highly commended at this amazon price.

A great quality keyboard, feels nice, not clicky and great hot key and macro facilities. The light is good, would be nice to be able to change the brightness but thats just a little thing.

Ok, so having used this keyboard for a few days i quite like it. Build quality seems fine, it’s fairly heavy for it’s size, which is a good sign, and looks quite nice too. The illumination is very good, probably the best i’ve seen on any keyboards i’ve purchased before (including a couple of £50-£60 bigger name brands). The only down side is it’s the light is either on or off, no levels to choose from, but that’s not really a big negative. The keyboard layout is much like most laptops, with the insert/delete keys up next to the f keys, which will take a little getting used to if you don’t use a laptop. The keys are also fairly low profile, without much space between them, so again if you aren’t used to a laptop keyboard you could have issues there, notably pressing 2 keys at once by accident. The key press is a little on the firm side (firmer than some cherry keyboards for sure), a little firmer than i’d like to be honest, so if you type a lot and are used to a keyboard that doesn’t require much pressure, you may find yourself missing a letter every now and then. However, a little firm it may be,but spongy it is not. While not as tactile as a mechanical keyboard, you feel that give when the key is pressed properly. For gaming, it’s perfectly fine, certainly better than my previous logitech non-mechanical keyboard (g105), however i’m not a pro gamer (and this isn’t really a pro gamers keyboard), so will not get too far into those details.

Very bright back lighting which looks cool and expensive. Can turn off back light but i like it on as it looks so good. Best backlit keyboard for this price.

My desktop pc had an old keyboard which i have been looking to replace for a long time. I saw this and the price immediately attracted me, so i bought it. Great sturdy keyboard, nice glowing effect which helps as the light reduces. The kids love it for the anti ghosting effect. Great keyboard, great price.

Certainly worth paying extra for this rather than a budget keyboard, its well made, the illumination is very bright and the keys have a good response and are relatively quiet. Particularly good to have an on/off switch for the illumination. Had it for 3 months works faultlessly. Update june2017lights significantly faded, only the center keys are readable, otherwise still working ok. Update feb 2018only one backlight still working and another flickering annoyingly – lights effectively useless. Cabling into the unit very frail, outer plastic covering has pulled out. Around 5 keys loosing paintwork. All keys still issuing commands fine, but otherwise a disappointment.

Took a while for my eyes to get used to the lights as they hurt my eyes but now its fine and working well.
