PICTEK Wireless Mouse – replaced

The original mouse was replaced with an updated version and i must say wow,it meets all my expectations,thanks guys.

Excellent to hold as chunky and smooth.

Second purchase, this one for my teacher wife. So easy and reliable to use. Great price for a great product.

I drop it twice a day since i bought it 6 months ago and still working perfectly. (you wonder whats wrong with me).

This is a really smooth mouse. I find it glides so comfortably around the page & has excellent traction. I mainly used it for general browsing. It has 2 extra options on the left but i could not find any information as to what they do on the instructions sheet but i omly use the main 3 buttons anyways. It also has a cpi adjustable funstion in the middle (with 5 adjustable cpi: 800/1200/1600/2000/2400 setting). It fits very comfortably around the hand & although the mouse is average size, it fits very well for my petite hands. I have used a lot of mouses & this one is quite impressive (esp. I would definitely recommend it.

( i received this free of charge)this is going to sound a bit sad, but it’s surprising just how much better a cordless mouse looks and feels. I’ve used ones in coffee-shops etc before where space is limited, but i got this for my relatively roomy desk at work and it’s a (minor) revelation. It probably helps that this mouse is sensitive (and the sensitivity is easily controlled), and moves sleekly and almost silently – much better than my old corded one. I plugged in the wifi usb dongle to my laptop (running linux cinnamon mint) and the mouse worked immediately. I tried it with windows 10 (running on virtualbox), an old chromebook and a newish macbook air and again it worked immediately with no setup required at all. One last cool thing: the bottom of the mouse has a slot/holder for its own wifi dongle, useful if you’re travelling and your laptop has a close-fitting sleeve.

I can’t fault this optical mouse although i will point out that it appears to say in the spec it is suitable for right-hand or left-hand users, the one i received is only good for right-hand users because it’s shaped to the hand. You simply pop in the battery, take out the connector which is in the base and plug it into your usb port and off you go. It has the right and the left click button, as usual, and a scroll wheel in the centre. It says there are six buttons. Possibly they’re counting the cpi button. The scroll wheel has a nice rubberised edge to it so it’s easily gripable. The scroll wheel has a click button below it. On the left-hand side are the two extra buttons which are programmable. I use a separate shareware program: x-mouse button control.

Works very well and easy to carry around and a good price. Very happy with my purchase.

 this is the first wireless pc accessory i have tried and i’m delighted with it. Now i know that wireless pc accessories have been around for a few years now, but i’ve been around much longer. In fact august 2017 was the thirtieth anniversary of doing my first computer course. Back in 1987 there were no wireless accessories. Back then the internet, touch devices, smart phones, were just a figment of the science fiction imagination. Now of course they are a big part of daily life. On my small desk i have an extra monitor (1 lead), speakers (2 leads), a mouse, a keyboard etc, for a total of seven leads. So i’m delighted to be able to be able to do away with one. The mouse has the standard left/right buttons and a scroll wheel in the middle. It also has forward and backwards buttons on the left hand side which allows you to move backwards/forwards in browser windows.

Easy to set up and get things going. Its very responsive and accurate in use and has a very tactile feel about it. Only criticism i have is that you cant get it in a left handed version which could prove difficult for some lefties. But i have found being a leftie you just have to perceiver and get on with it. I would definatly recommend this. Good delivery time on this as well.

Would be better with an on/off switch, and sometimes doesn’t connect immediately. Lightweight and ergonomic, a quality budget mouse.

An excellent mouse and great value for money. It moves smoothly and works great with no problems. Just what i needed to decrease the clutter around my computer.

For a mouse that cost so little i wasn’t sure what to expect. I have to say thta quality is really good and it does what is says. For a wirelles mouse it is bargain.

I received a free sample of this product in exchange for an honest review. This is a very reasonably priced 6 button wireless mouse. As such i was expecting a so-so product, but on this occasion i am very pleasantly surprised. If you are right handed this is a very ergonomic mouse that does everything you want of it and does it well. The size i think is the perfect compromise between comfort and compact. The claimed battery life is great. Best of all it is tweakable and very responsive. So it feels nice, looks good and works well. Happy to strongly recommend this.

Overview: this a mouse which is not only works well but has an elegant design. >very ergonomic design>practical>portable>easy to setup and use>fits well in the palm of the hand>the usb adapter is encased in the mouse so is easy to store for transport>unfortunately, i couldn’t get the drivers from the website so was unable to test/use the side buttons. What can you say about a mouse. It works well glides easily fits snug in your hand bluetooth reception is good.

Read the reviews have mixed feelings about buying this product but very happy i did responsive quick and large enough for my hands. All in all a were the purchase don’t hesitate get this mouse.

It doesn’t get much easier than this to use. Simply insert a battery and plug the receiver into your laptop or pc and be on your way. It is very comfortable thanks to its ergonomic design and while smaller than what i would consider a standard sized mouse(pc) it doesn’t effect it at all. Laptop mice are generally a bit smaller and this is just fine. The range is quite good on it as well as i can use it anywhere in my front room and it will move the mouse across the screen with no real input lag at all. The all black design also looks very nice and can be used in a professional environment with no issues what so ever. Bottom line – great mouse, easy to use, plenty of distance and very comfortable. Disclaimer: i received this mouse in exchange for an honest and unbiassed review.

Great functionality and looks.

Having used this mouse for a few days now im overall impressed. One of the best features is the usb reciever slots nicely away in the bottom of mouse which is great for using with a laptop when you have unplug at put it away during travel and so on. Im using windows 10 and i just plugged it in and it worked straight away. The mouse is comfortable with 3 dpi settings (button on top of the mouse) better suited for smaller hands. I have big hands buts its still acceptable. 1 aa battery which is tight to get in but you wont be replacing this much.

Everything works as it should.

With the impatience of a 5 year old brat i couldn’t wait to get my hands on this mouse,it comes in a very neat plastic and foam container which is both very well made and very attractive. Set up is simplicity itself,under windows10 its just a matter of fitting the nano receiver into a usb port,the receiver is handily situated in its cosy slot just next to the aa battery compartment,very neat indeed,slapping in a battery and switching it on with the clearly marked 3 position switch,on,off and on with lights on,(a gentle deep blue and most welcome to a registered dragon slayer such as myself),its all plain sailing from there and i have found it to be most satisfactory in all ways. The 5 dpi settings are useful and the weight and feel are of a more expensive item,its neat and well shaped and i’m very pleased with it,.

My wife and son fought over this mouse as both loved it. My wife particularly liked its ergonomics and genuinely thought it was the one of the best sized and shaped mice she had used to date. My 13 year old techie son admired its performance and technical spec. They were still fighting over it yesterday. I received this item at no cost in exchange for an honest review.
