TeckNet Mechanical Feel Gaming Keyboard and Mouse set, A smart looking key board

The minute my keyboard arrived and i unboxed it the j key felt a little spongy and was harder to press than the others, this also affected the h and k keys but over time that has been virtually eliminated, the macro keys work fantasically but it would be nice if you could set a delay between 2 key presses etc because you can record with delays or record without delays. Please take note that this is a us keyboard layout so the @ key is shift+2 and the ‘ key is shift+’. The actual keyboard is very responsive but quite noisy and it took about a month to get used to, i found that the g1-g8 keys don’t work but they weren’t macro keys. The volume knob is slow and has broken off once for me (it took a few seconds to put back on) but the arrow keys are insane, they fit my fingers nicely and i use them a lot. Lastly there is not 15 macro keys, there’s 5, but there are 3 profiles which you can switch between with the press of a button, there aren’t many games with 15 macros needed (i use 4 at most) so i have each profile assigned to a game, the leds on the keyboard are very dull but for new gamers who don’t want to buy an expensive keyboard, i recommend this. Oh yeah the windows on/off key works billiantly and the actual keyboard has deep, noisy keys.

As i dropped tea on my last keyboard i fort it was time for an upgrade this one took my eye straight away (i like things that look different) its a good keyboard works well with heavy gaming and having a volume nob for easy use it comes in handy :d it was delivered very fast very happy with this product.

Though there is a discernible difference between this and top shelf products, to be expected when considering the difference in price. The keyboard broke after ~10 months, a direction key snapped off mid use, i did use the keyboard every day though. The mouse still works but its not as comfortable as higher tier mice, such as my current logitech g402.

Amazon unlisted this keyboard, and now it’s been listed again but i’m not sure if it’s the same one because mine didn’t come with a mouse. If it is:you can pull out the keys which i found pretty cool, until i pulled out the space bar which is apparently different and now i have on of those ‘see-saw’ space bars. The keyboard is huge and heavy. Volume control is cool, a lot of extra keys for keybinds.

I have purchased a lot of pc equipment from tecknet over the past two years, mostly as it offers entry level peripherals for those new to pc gaming, such as myself. The overall gist from these guys is that you pay a fraction of the cost for gaming gear and equipment than you would from larger brands (corsair, razer etc. ), but you don’t lose out in the quality department whatsoever. The same can be said for this keyboard and mouse. The mouse is an absolute entry level gaming mouse with no real difference from a standard office mouse (it is more comfortable than one though). The keyboard however is where you get your money’s worth. It is a near full sized keyboard (i’ll explain later) with a good solid frame and the keys are smooth and slick to type with. The keyboard has a wide range of functions to aid a gamer in small and subtle ways, such as the windows lock key to prevent the gamer from exiting the game by accidentally pressing the win key (which is really, really annoying). The anti-ghosting is really good, i have had no problems with it, meaning i can press multiple keys at once without the keyboard not registering any additional key presses. The only issue that i have had with this keyboard is that it is of us layout, meaning that some of the keys are not where you’d expect them (think more mac layout).

Arrived on time and happy with the product.

Can’t really fault this for the price. The keyboard has a good weight and feel to it, and the keys are well spaced, easy and fast to type on. The only point to make is that this is a us layout keyboard, but other than that it’s great. The back lighting is an added bonus and is customiseable, allowing you to change the colour. The mouse is also fast and responsive, and works well across different surfaces. It’s a little light compared to some mice, but is comfortable to use over prolonged lengths of time.

Fantastic Keyboard – Love It!

,

All-round great product

This keyboard is greatpros:led lightingwater resistantslick lookingfast shippingvery cheapcons:one of my buttons where the @ button and the ‘ are mixed up, which would be a little tricky for someone who has little keyboard experience. Appart from this problem it is a great keyboard and setup.

Really good mouse and keyboard. The keyboard is built using durable materials and is ideal for casual gamer’s like myself. Having the ability to change the led colours of the keyboard goes well with my desktop. The mouse only has the single blue colour led. The mouse is ergonomically well designed to allow the user to use the mouse for long periods of time. Highly recommend the products to anyone especially for the price and durability of the products.

Bought this due to a malfunctioning logitech g15 keyboard. Transition was difficult, as i was used to both the g15’s uk layout and backlit keys. Size is pretty decent, and i like the m-key setup as well as the audio controller. Only thing i am missing, though, is the lcd screen from the g15 and possibly more multimedia controls. Issue with the inbuilt usb port; computer failed to recognize any device plugged into it, including the small g-keyboard included. Currently i have to run a usb extender around the back of my desk to get the g-keyboard to run. Another issue is the inclusion of the ‘flap’ on the right-hand side. It serves no purpose whatsoever. Final issue is the lack of a uk-layout variant. Bought this under the impression that it was already, but was surprised to recieve the box in chinese with the usa layout instead.

Has a little keypad which annoyingly doesnt quiet fit anywhere. Simply for the price and the functions you get for the money. But i use it for video editing. If you have already ripped your pubic hair out looking for the drivers / software. Com/download/mousekeyboard/download, t21 rar file.

Feel: 10/10look: 10/10quality: 6/10seller: 10/10 but haven’t had to actually contact them for anything. **edit** well, i’ve had this for a little over 3 months and already a couple of the keys have started to regularly pop off, which is quite annoying. The can be put back on, but will periodically come off again. Downgraded the quality to a 6/10 because a well-made keyboard should last at least a year. Honestly, i love this keyboard. It feels extremely well made and sturdy. The price-point is absolutely excellent. The action on the keys is smooth and easy, with a nice sound that isn’t annoying but one that i personally find extremely satisfying. The key placement is us/canadian, not u. So watch out if that’s not what you’re used to (is clearly shown in the pictures btw); i’m used to a canadian key layout, so that’s exactly what i wanted. Shipping was very quick, which is always a plus and have no issues with the seller. Essentially, the item is exactly as described and even better than my initial expectations. I wouldn’t just recommend this because it’s good for the money, i’d recommend it because it’s great in general. **edit**i didn’t read the description clearly, so was pleasantly surprised to see it came with a pretty nice mouse too.

Considering i only received this yesterday i haven’t had much chance to play with it. But the weight on the keyboard is amazing, when i pulled it out of the box it had a key missing but that easily popped back on. I was extremely happy with the keyboard it looked and felt good quality. The mouse i’m not so sure about, but i’ll see how that goes. It doesn’t give off the same quality that the keyboard does.

Really good quality gaming keyboard and good service.

Good keyboard but noisy does what stated but not for me as needed back lit keyboard my fault did not read scription very well other than that good keyboard.

Keyboards ok & works well but a little annoyed to find that it has a us layout which is not immediately apparent in the advert. Also the advert states ‘5 programmable m-keys, 15 groups of macro-definition set’errr nope. Theres five macro keys , thats it, the g1 – g8 keys ‘mini-keyboard’ you can leave in the box as theres no way to assign macros to them or program them with the supplied driver/program. They are not macro keys and frankly just get in the way of the real function keys. When plugged in , the g8 key seems to do the same as f5 and refreshes in a browser but the other keys?. The only use i can think of for them would be for any softare that allows key assignment.

A good buy doesn’t feel cheap. It is us keyboard layout but that doesn’t matter ad i just need keys for gaming. The led lights do the job fine for me.

Awesome keyboard, cool noise and nice lights.

Despite the keyboard being supposedly in an american layout, i have had no issue using it and cannot really tell the difference. I love the colours it comes with and it’s a great starter set up. The mouse is heavier than expected but again works a treat and i find it so comfortable to use.

Works nicely so far, feels really responsive and comfortable. Fyi the keys are a little loud when typing and some of the punctuation keys are in weird places if you’re a uk user, but great value purchase if you don’t mind that.

Great keyboard, takes time to get used to though as the keys are shifted a bit compared to other keyboards because of the extra keys but overall a great keyboard and well worth the price.

Bought on special offer, fantastic piece of kit. Very robust, num pad detaches which i think is a great attribute. So dependant on where your pc is sat, if like myself you have a rubbish stand tucked up to the wall you can swap it sides, takes a bit of getting used to mind. The keys aren’t standard uk setup, but i dont look at the key’s much anyway.

Although it’s a fairly, cheap and basic gaming keyboard and mouse package, the feel of the keys is pretty good. The height and some issues with key-positions have lead me to use a more normal logitec keyboard for most things now though. The keyboard looks great for show, not too practical for typing or some gaming uses though.

Not the greatest mouse and keyboard, in fact its quite the opposite, it is also annoying that the mouse’s light does not go off when the pc it self is turned off and only turns off if the mouse is unplugged however for the price you can’t complain much, i’ve also had the product for awhile now and it still works fine.

Son is overjoyed with this keyboard and mouse.

Considering the price it a quite a bargain. Pros: the keyboard is mechanical and feels quite smooth for a keyboard that does not use cherry switches. The backlight can be changed to red, blue and pinkish purple alongside with the intensity of those colours. The mouse is very precise and versatile when it comes to the surfaces that it is placed on. Cons: the only downside i see is that the keyboard backlight does not light up the keys properly. In bright environments the letters can barely be made out.

Using this for work rather than gaming. Alongside ahk, the macros are very useful for repetitive functions. Great for gaming too, and the mini keypad is a cool additional. Can’t work out what the fold-out arm is for.

This is the first time i spent a good amount of money on a keyboard and i was not disappointed. The keys are great to use, the handle is useful when moving it around and the rest for your wrists are greatthis keyboard has 2 usb’s, though you can only use one of these to power the whole keyboard. The second one is in case you would like to use the slot in the keyboard. The extra keys are useful but something i personally do not use. The best thing about this keyboard is the volume control, it is a great feature that is great and easy to use. The bit that confuses me most is the right bar, which can be opened up to a 90 degree angle. I have found nothing about what this is for or why it exists. Overall the keyboard is great. The only negative things are that it has an american keyboard layout (what doesn’t effect my typing).

I gave this 4 stars because you can change the layout a lot and there are some useful extra buttons you can set macros up for and bind it to do things. It would have got 5 stars but the layout is different to the one i am used to – e. The @ symbol is in an unexpected place, this means it took a while to get used to it. The extra small keyboard on top has buttons that stick which i should probably complain about but have not done so yet. I love this keyboard and would recommend it to anyone who uses a keyboard especially gamers.

So far it has been good, but the lights don’t light up the keys so if its dark you need to touch type which is a bit silly.

Brilliant itemi bought it for my son to complete his new bedroom in teen stylemy son is very excited about it as it is very ‘cool” anyone with a teen boy know what that meansthe red keys are easy to find and give an interesting look to this keyboardthe hand rest on the left is a brilliant idea as well.

I love this keyboard, great for playing my games. And easy to use at night with the led keys.

Seems a really great build quality, nice discreet lights in the keyboard for functions & nice clunky yet soft feel to the keys, very happy, especially for the price & with the macro panel :).

My loves it and says it makes typing and gaming so much easier. Would order from seller again.

Very proud owner of this keyboard and mouse ,fast responces ,great for typing and working on business documentation ,i use it on my hp laptop which has a crap keyboard ,,, the service is great ,,got the keyboard in two weeks ,the keyboard and mouse are solid ,the design of the keyboard is solid and and great for gaming too ,,,would recommend this device to all serious gamers and business it users for heavy typing ,,thank you tecknet.

This keyboard is well worth the money. The keys are sort of spongey at times but if you’re a long time keyboard user you’d get used to pressing down on keys hard that it just comes natural when you’re typing. My only problem is that the space bar is rattly but to be honest that’s literally the only annoying noise coming from the keyboard, the rest of the keys seem very well fitted. I cannot get over the volume knob, it is an awesome feature. I did some small research and found drivers on tecknet website which lets you adjust the m1-m5 keys, this is particularly useful for those like me who don’t have a cd/dvd drive in their computer. The link is here: http://www. Html – these keys are extremely useful for me, as i can map any key i want to them (for starters, i use m5, the most bottom key, to mute sound in quick situations, with past keyboards it took more time with fn + f4).

This set is great although it comes in the american style key layout. This has lasted nearly a year and is great quality. You can change the colours using one button although you can’t change colours on the mouse. (by pressing ‘fn’ + the colour key, you can change it to fading light. ) this product is great for gaming as the key sizes are good and the keys are curved slightly for your fingers to stay on the keys and not slip. The cables are long and can be tied up if needed, but covered in a good material that will last a long time and not let the cable split this is an all round good product which i would recommend to anyone looking for a good quality keyboard and mouse set.
