James Donkey Wired Gaming Mouse – Very good quality mouse

To begin, the mouse is extremely aesthetically satisfying, and matched the expectations i had after viewing its picture online. For such a low cost, i really was thrilled to receive such a responsive and ergonomic mouse, which is excellent for both trivial jobs such as surfing the web or doing jobs, and also for playing games on my computer. I was thoroughly appreciative of how quickly my order arrived, and i feel the subsequent customer service has truly been exquisite.

This is my review of the mouse. This mouse was sent by jane but will keep this review unbiased. For those that don’t want to read the whole review then this is for you: really good for competitive csgo and other games, has 2 buttons on the side which is also good for editing. Only problem is the design and found it not to be comfortable with a palm grip on the right side and i think this is because of its ambidextrous design, but i used a claw grip and found it to be ok. Packaging:10/10 best packaging i’ve seen under 100€, very well displayed. The design:9/10 not comfortable with a palm grip but every other grip worked well, this mouse can be used for left handed users but without the use of side buttons. The mouse is built entirely out of plastic and the yellow parts have a texturised rubber giving good grip to the mouse. Gaming:10/10 i tried this mouse for cs:go, battlefield 4 and some other games and found it to be really pleasing to play with, had no delay and found it to be similar to my razer deathadder chroma when it comes to performance. My friends noticed that i began to play better. Editing:10/10 this mouse has 6 programmable buttons and 2 of them being side buttons for your thumb which is really nice to see at this price point.

The james donkey usb gaming mouse comes in a long matt black box with a clear top and inside is a yellow card with diagrams that tell you what all the buttons on the mouse are for. The mouse is black with yellow buttons the usb cable is yellow with a black usb connection and is very high quality. The mouse is very smooth and has no rough edges at all. , it fits in the hand really well and is really comfortable to use. I personally think its a very versatile mouse and you can use it for gaming and normal computer tasks as well, i like that you can switch the dpi from 1000 to 2000, which makes the mouse precise and accurate. I used the mouse on windows 10 and windows xp and with both the mouse was recognized straight away no problem at all, which is brilliant as the gaming mouse i purchased before this one would not work with windows 10, even after a so say corrective download from the manufacturer. The mouse has a nice solid feel and then scroll wheel and buttons have a nice feel as well, and you can use the mouse for a very long time without any discomfort so is well designed in this ascept,all the buttons are really easy to access. The mouse is an optical mouse but is more that sensitive enough it dosent skip or freeze at all, and for the price is an amazing gaming mouse, a real bargain. I would highy recommend this mouse its very comfortable to use is very stylish looking and made from high quality materials and feels like a mouse that will last, and the leds are a nice touch, even the box it arrives in is of high quality and i think would make a great present so if you are loking for a wired gaming mouse that works well as a normal mouse and a gaming mouse give this one a go. Gaming for the pc is becoming more and more popular every year as custom built pc’s reduce in price and companies like steam and origin making accessing games as easy and seamless as can be. As a result of this surge in popularity most ‘decent’ gaming mouses start at around £30. For this you’ll get the key features you need, a strong and long wired usb cable, at least 3 dpi settings a sensible and well sized body and a few side buttons. This mouse delivers the above without the same price tag. The mouse also features a nice body shape which is comfortable for those that play palm style and enough length in the body for those that like to play claw style while retaining a position on the mouse to rest your wrist (those with big hands may want to opt for a large mouse as there is room but i wouldn’t say ample room). With any product that are pros and cons. Luckily the con list of this product is essentially removed because you save so much money on the purchase. Having said that, the main draw backs are as follows.

I like this led mouse very much, the quality of the packaging the mouse arrived is very smart which made the look more expensive than it was to buy. The quality of the mouse it self very good, with a yellow cable which is strong and will be last for a long time. It has standard buttons such as (left, right, middle scroll and up, down buttons on the side). It also has underneath an on/off light switch to enable the mouse to light up. This is very good gaming mouse for the price. We have no issues so far it performs well, easy to use and no drivers needed. I received the product for free.

Very well built mouse, but unfortunately the shape was quite uncomfortable to me. It glides very smoothly, the rubber cable is awesome and doesnt get stuck (need this on more mice) and the buttons click very confidently. If you like fairly high, heavy symmetrical mice this might be good for you. I stopped using it after a week though, as i prefer more ergonomically shaped mice.

This product is simply fantastic. Ordered it, dispatched and delivered quicker than expected; the packaging itself is far above the level that was expected – a sleek design to the packaging to correspond with the sleek, flawless looks of the mouse. The mouse’s build quality is superb with great tactile feedback on all of the buttons. You can seamlessly shift between dpi settings. The mouse has a great weight and feel to it. The rubber cord is excellent and does not snag on anything and feels of similar quality to a braided cable that is a common staple amongst gaming mice. The mouse is responsive and gives good feedback. This is probably the best £7 i’ve ever spent. This mouse delivered well above my expectations.

Does everything a mouse should do but looks like a work of art.

The contrast between the black and yellow really stands out against the normal boring colours of your setup. Now using this product for a little bit, i can conclude that it feels very comfortable in the hand due to the design. Talking of design this came in a really nice package which adds to the unboxing experience. In conclusion i would highly recommend this to anyone thinking of getting a cheap yet high quality gaming mouse.

I using this mouse in the workplace and home too.

This mouse fits perfectly in large hands and it comfortable to use for extended periods. Would recommend for anyone looking for a decent gaming mouse as budget prices.

I now have two of these, i like them so much. One for my desktop pc and one for my laptop when i don’t want to use the touchpad.

This great looking mouse comes beautifully packaged in a smart box and looks and performs way above it’s price tag. I have big hands but it fits nicely in my palm and the multiple mouse buttons are all easily accessible. The cable is sturdy and so is the usb plug. The mouse moves very smoothly on my mat and has customsiable dpi. It also has an led light that makes it glow like a transformer watching you in the dark, this is easy to switch off by using a small switch underneath the mouse. All in all great value for money.

The mouse is really gd, does the job with its 2000dpi sensor and overall design, one thing is that the side of the mouse without buttons is kinda uncomfortable for fingers but after a while u get used to it. All buttons are nice, tactile click and spring click side buttons. The wire however does need some homemade modifications as it tugs on table and can get stuck under mouse, but overall really gd mouse.

I am frustrated by this product. The mouse is really well designed, right down to using a yellow colour cable and attention to detail such as using a yellow cable tie is impressive. Everything tells you it is quality. So for me james donkey get a 10 out of 10 for attention to detail. So why have i left 3 stars?. This is because, the mouse was not great in use. My hand, kept falling off, because there was no ‘thumb rest’. If i put my hands too far forward, then there are two ‘sharp’ triangle cuts (see front). For me, i need a place to rest my thumb. For web browsing, there are two side buttongs (back page and forward page), but they are in the wrong place and too high up.

I have thoroughly tested this gaming mousepros-has side buttons-adjustable dpicons-very grippy side piece-the same texture on side buttonsthere is a very thin line between gaming and non-gaming equipment and it is hard to say whether this is on the wrong side or not. I game rather casually but this definitely doesn’t mean that i opt in for the crumbs from the cake for while i might not take the biggest slice when it comes to choosing gaming mice i will definitely be using a good one. When i saw this mouse for the first time i was rather excited as it looked great and seemed to meet the casual gaming standard so i plugged it in and gave it a try. It is very strong and looks great with the leds that it has. As for the way that this mouse feels it has a piece of rubber on both sides and while it is fine on the right side, on the left side it makes it harder to quickly use the side buttons then once my thumb is on a side button i then have to move it around to check if i’m pressing the right button which can cost me a life in cs:go or other games but remember that this is an entry level gaming mouse and it does a good job at it. Another thing that gets me considering whether this is a gaming mouse or not is the fact that it had a polling rate of 125hz while higher-end gaming mice usually have roughly a 1000hz polling rate although once again this is an entry level mouse at a cheap price so i am not going to complain about that but anyway don’t forget that james donkey currently sells’ some more advanced mice such as a modular version which not only includes dedicated software but also has a polling rate of 1000hz.
