Nikon AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 18-55mm 1:3 – Great lens

This was a replacement for an existing that got damaged, this is fantastic. I realised how long i had been using my old one in its damaged state.

Super lense ideal for taking long os short photos easy to attach to camera and would recommend to any one.

As far as i know, this lens is fine – pity my camera failed before i could make full use of it.

Typical nikon quality, good product.

Very good lens for everyday purposes. Bought one for my nikon d40. The combination of auto and manual controls are great and the lens isn’t too big to carry either. Overall great balance between functionality and ease of use.

The lens are oem and complement my existing lens providing a full rang of photographic options. Broadening the range of photographs and subject matter.

When i bought my d 40 it came with a 55/200 lens an excellent lens but had limitations close up, as this was the standard kit lens i figured this would fill the gap and yes it does that more than adequately and i now have coverage from 18mm to 200mm in just two lenses, also it was delivered in 36 hours. A real class lens at a budget price.

Brilliant lens, have used this on many of my shoots, the dof adjusts perfectly and takes a good range of shots. I shoot many things from portrait, landscape and even moving subjects such as children with ease.

I broke my d40 18-55mm vr lens last year in a christmas party. Since then i have been using this lens and i did not had any problem at all. This doesnt come with a vr but still doesnt compromise on the image quality. I have used it for almost 8 months now and am completely satisfied with its output.

Good replacement for the original.

Tried this lens out and i find it be a nice bit of kit well worth the money,looks good on my nikon.

Okay for lens quality for the price. Did not ship with a proper nikon rear lens cap, just some cheap white clear plastic rear lens cap. For the price it should have included a proper nikon rear lens cap and a nikon bag.

Was perfect for what i needed.

Compact and light zoom lens with high-quality optics

This is a beautiful and under-rated lens with a very useful range and excellent clarity. One drawback is the dreadful plastic mount. Please nikon i beg you, change to metal mounts.

Best thing is it allows you to do most of your casual photography. And it covers the range which we usually need for an informal photography. Otherwise you will end up buying two different lenses one for the short range and other for long range.

This is the best small range lens i have to date to and its brillaint, it has a smooth function when focusing and brilliant focus.

Arrived as expected, nice basic lens for my nikon 3100 will use this when out in the field with my dogs.

My old lens broke and i desperately tried to find another in time for my fortnight’s holiday in japan. Fortunately i found this one on amazon and was delighted with the speedy delivery and the quality of the product. I’m now enjoying all my photos.

Great little lens in my view – though of course ‘experts’ may find something or other to moan about at the edges.

Takes great pictures, does anything else matter?. The build quality feels a little plasticky but don’t drop it and life will be fine.

This is a brilliant product i can’t wait to start using it and working with my camera as i do enjoy photography should be good fun just a shame about the courier that is only gripe.
