Andoer Auto Focus Macro Extension Tube Set 13mm 21mm 31mm – Absolutely love this product
I purchased these extension tubes after reading the reviews and because they were quite a bit cheaper than others that are available, even then same brand. I don’t know if it is the blue banding that is less desirable than other ones available but as far as i know the product is the same despite the cheaper price. The product itself does the job fine, i’ve mainly used it with my 50mm f/1. As others have said, depending on how you combine the 3 tubes the focusing distance is reduced. With all 3 tubes combined you are typically millimetres away from the subject. Normally you would just use whichever tubes you need to achieve the focus distance you need. The quality of the picture isn’t really affected as the tubes are hollow and have nothing that can affect the lens light. What you do find is that the depth of field is *very* shallow and it takes some practise to get used to that and result in a decent image. The tubes seem well built, plastic body with metal brackets either end.
Just what i was looking for and at a good price.
The build quality isn’t very good and i find myself unwilling to let go of the lens as it rattles around on the end of the tube. Also, the auto focus racks back and forth like it’s trying to decide between 1mm and infinity. (like it’s trying to break its self). Having said that, the aperture adjustment works fine and that’s the main reason i bought this product. At the price it is i don’t mind manual focus or having to hold the lens. Better that than spending many hundreds on a specialized lens that gives me the same results. I don’t make a living from macro photography so this will do me fine, for now at least. I only use manual mode and relatively fast shutter speeds, so i can’t comment on the ttl or image stabilization.
Tiny bit rough round the edges but works ok most of the time.
Great value extension tubes for macro photography. If you’ve not used extension tubes before, i highly recommend a bit of youtube viewing. Well built, complete with carry case. The only negative i have is that the threading isn’t the smoothest, but for the money, what do you expect.Definitely prey them out a few times to ensure the fit is good between your lens and camera body, and that the locking catches work as they should.

Fells good quality for the price . I got a quote from a camera supplier and they had nearly identical ones for £120 bargain would recommend.
Don’t let the price put you off. These are first class extension tubes and work well with my dslr. Difficult to split them to start with but that was because they were new.
Amazing piece of kit, just what you need for great macro.
What can i say about this that probably hasn’t been said a million times over, well for starters if you would like to try your hand at macro photography, then this is a good place to start. Specialist macro lenses as anyone who has looked at them can be quite pricey, whereas this kit can help you simulate the affect of a macro lens by allowing your lens to focus closer, this is done by increasing the distance between the sensor and the end of the lens. Just to show how this works i took a series of test shots of one of my spare batteries using my canon 700d and a canon 50mm 1. 8 lens, i focused the lens out as far as it would go by turning the focus wheel to the right. As you can see from the first shot i placed a tape measure along the table to measure the rough focal lengths. Then without changing any of the settings on the camera i took a series of shots with the front end of the lens level with the edge of the table, adding extra extension tubes after each shot, and moving the battery to gain focus. Whilst this method is by no means scientific and the only thing that can be drawn from it is an appreciation of how much closer you can get with these things, i have also included my measurements below. Shot length of extension distance to object1 0 35cm2 13mm 13. 7cmfrom that i can only say that to get you started unless you can afford/justify a macro lens give these a try.
I now find myself needing a ring light for use with this.
They work ( more or less) fine for the price. One of the rings will not lock onto camera body (70d or 40d) which causes the autofocus and aperture to fail. The other rings lock in fairly well and pass through the electrics to the lens. Autofocus still worked with bright subjects but could be subject hunting. Very glad i purchased these cheaper tubes to try the extension option before splashing out on more expensive ones, whilst they do reduce the closest focus sing distance on the lens they also remove any ability to focus on distant subjects. I got better results from using my dedicated macro sigma lens.
Works ok – was worried i might struggle to remove them from the camera body once fitted but had no problems. Here are the specifications for the Andoer Auto Focus Macro Extension Tube Set 13mm 21mm 31mm:

Bought these to modify to make canon ef lens controller and were the cheapest way to acquire the pins and connectors to make it.
Autofocus works perfectly with my canon 80d and canon 5d mark iv. I test it with the 3 rings attached. As you would expect, with the extension tube, the photos are slightly underexposed, but this problem is easily solved in edition or by changing some camera parameters (iso, shutter speed) and flash power (if you are using it ). Image quality remains the same as the focusing speed. I think that with the 3 tubes attached the magnification achieved should be 2: 1.
Handy device, snug fit, great close ups.
Amazon please remove that option. I love my car, and my wife but i can never love a photographic accessory. It does the job that is all. They seem quite well made, and work perfectly with the canon lenses.
For the price, a real bargin. It needed a bit of silicone spray to free up the pins. The metal rings click nicely on the camera. I had the cheaper all plastic version which had problems latching so i ordered these.
Takes a bit of getting used to, all me not the kit.

Great Extension Tube ring

Useable and well priced.

Sometimes the camera doesn’t recognise these macro extension rings.
A bit lighter and more plasticky than another set i have, but given that these are cheaper and have the contacts for the lens, all good.
Have tried these extension tubes a few times now and the ttl metering has worked ok for me. The tubes are of reasonable quality and can be put in place and removed fairly easily. The alignment indexes are not terribly obvious at first. Otherwise they do what they are supposed to do.
I bought the canon version of these auto-extension tubes set. ,the canon bayonet-mounting plates are made from aluminium. And the main bodies are made from a polycarbonate-resin material. And appear to be of reasonable build-quality. Although the lens locking-pin mechanism needs care to ensure it fully locks into place and prevent the lens from becoming detatched when rotated.
Ok but very thin metal and plastic no confidence in using.
Amazing value compared to branded versions what more do you need.

They work but the catch to release the extension tube is poor and sometimes will not release the tube.
I don’t like that every time i have to add the ring to others to be able to unscrew it from the lens.
Not the best but for the money does what it takes.
Could not fault this product really clear photos happy with my purchase.
I have no idea how man y times i’ve used these when i don’t have my macro with me. Also superb with a macro for super macro and i certainly don’t think bellows are a better choice.
Product so far is good , it arrived before time which i really needed and on the small test that i have so far done it has performed as i expected it should.

I’ve taken extremely good quality images with these.
Good solid mounting of the lens and adaptor to camera body so no wobble or stray light getting in. All of the lens’s electroncs communicate with the camera. Have used this with a 35 th 70 zoom and polarizer and had absolutly no problems.
I bought this along with a more expensive model to compare (the branded version was 5 times this price) and they basically do the same job so unless you want brand and have the money to spend, you would be better going with this one as long as you don’t mind blue or gold edging (couldn’t find silver).
