Powercool MECH1 Mechanical Feel Keyboard – Clickety-click clackety-clack that lovely sound
Colours are great and really does feel like a mechanical keyboard. Hard to type on it at first but you get used to it.
Just what i was looking for and at a very reasonable price ,thank you.
Awesome for the price, nice mechanical feel – just takes a bit of getting used to – especially as the backspace key is single width. You can cycle through the backlit colours by pressing a key to the right of the spacebar – also has options for gaming.
Nice keyboard, loud mechanical sound and feel to it. The adjustable leds are a nice touch. It is annoying that the colour resets to red each time you power off the pc, but not a deal breaker. Also the backspace key is about half the normal size which takes some getting used to. I’ve found the volume control and media button being mapped to the fn key isn’t all the easy to press one handed, my old keyboard had dedicated volume buttons for this which i prefer. All in all a very nice product for the price.
Great keyboard with nice visual visual looks.

I work and play via a keyboard.
It’s really nice but the noise is just too much, it was keeping my housemates awake and i had to get another one.
Iots ok i brought as i have cataracts and need bright lights to see the only 1 i can use is the white light as others too dark.
But i love how loud this thing is. :)feels just like a mechanical keyboard.
Really like this, good sturdy keyboard, fun colors, got it asap, and i really needed it.
This is a great keyboard if you’re looking for a budget gaming keyboard and don’t want to splash the cash on a solid keyboard i’ve owned this keyboard for over 8 months and i am still using it to this very day i love the mechanical feel of it, it is very well made my only problem with it is the backlighting of it, not many options which is a let down but not really a huge problem for me at least8/10 for durability5/10 for rgb9/10 for build10/10 for noise.
Good sturdy keyboard, however the keys are incredibly loud, so much so that someone in my house could hear them downstairs as the sound was travelling through my table and the floor. Not recommended if you’ll be using skype or teamspeak while gaming as keys are more than audible. The leds were impressive and were visible even in light and the keyboard has a great weight and feel to it. My main quarrel with the keyboard was that the keys would not register unless fully pressed down, which is annoying as the keys need a fair bit of force to push them down in the first place. I bought this on a saturday or friday and unexpectedly came in on a monday. Really satisfied with the purchase.
This thing is a beast keyboard for the price. Even though it came with a lose key, i could fix that by just putting it on again. I’ve had this for a week now and it works like a charm. Very good remake of the mechanical feel, it feels as if it really is a mechanical keyboard.
Very impressed by this keyboard my friend has a mechanicalkeyboard and he says he cant tell the difference from mechanical feel. He spent £60 and i only spent £20 and there is more back light colors than the 1 on his. Nice satisfying clicks although can be a bit loud but that is what you will get with any real mechanical keyboard.
Nice feedback but no clicky sounds that the real mechanical keyboards make. But very satisfied as it is very well built.
I was searching for a keyboard to keep at home as i moved out to university, at university i have my 2010 razer blackwidow which is a mechanical keyboard so i wanted the same feeling without spending above £30. The mech1 is an imitation mechanical keyboard, you don’t get the click of an actual mechanical but the response is still pretty good, bundle that with its’ cool leds (seven colours) and a solid metal base for around £20 and you get a bargain. My only complaint, which i didn’t realise until i got the keyboard is that the backspace button is less than half the width of a normal sized button so it was quite hard to get used to. Other than that, i recommend it if you’re on a budget or looking for a cheap keyboard.

Great keyboard with a few small inconveniances

Has a nice feel to the keys and lighting is excellent.
. Just want the sound and feel of a old mechanical typewriter and this comes close.
Some of the positives:- really good feel and quite like that of a genuine mechanical keyboard. – made to last especially with the sturdy aluminium back. – a pulse type of backlighting for each individual key. One negative (mostly personal opinion:- the backspace ‘delete’ key is not the same length as traditional backspace keys. – the keys are louder than expected but that is nothing to worry about. For the price, this is a perfect long lasting keyboard that i am sure that all users will enjoy. Would definitely recommend this keyboard to casual users or gamers alike.
Great job, i am giving this a four because it had to be sent back and replaced.
Little loud, but works great. Nice and heavy so it doesnt move much.
A very good keyboard, comfortable to type on and the leds are a nice addition. However, when playing games, holding some keys seems to instead repeatedly press them. For example, when holding q or e to lean, the character will lean for a second, then return to their original position instead of remaining leaning. Edit: upon spending more time using the keyboard, it seems that holding the fn key and pressing q changes the way a keypress works, switching between a hold and repeated pressing. As such i now have no problems with the keyboard.

When taking this out the packaging, you notice it’s weight and quality first. It looks and feels fantastic. The backspace key is small, which is annoying. The light also automatically goes back to the default colour every time you turn your pc off, which is also annoying. However the most annoying this for me is that the function keys are reversed, so you can’t use any of the media controls without holding in the ‘fn’ key and then pressing them. I don’t know if there’s a way to fix this. However, those are all small annoyances, and this is still a really nice keyboard, especially for the price.
Was a great keyboard for the month that i owned it then two of the buttons decided to stop working.
I’m pleased with the purchase, the sounds when clicking are a bit different than a mechanical keyboard but the feeling of it is almost identical. Very good keyboard for this money.
Stands up to the quality of any razer keyboard product that i have previously owned, but for a cheaper price.
