Powercool RG100 Gaming Keyboard : Gamers keyboardbrill !

Really cool keyboard, the lights are a good quality and have a range of colours. Also being able to adjust the speed is a great option. Had this for a year now and to begin with there were a few problems with certain buttons not working but afrer wiggling them about a bit i got it working fine.
Not overly impressed but it does the job and is a fairly good price. It feels sturdy and well built but maybe the cable could be a bit longer.
Love this keyboard, the way you can customise the key colour and set up macros is great. Macros are so useful for livestreaming.
This is the third one of these i have purchased and they are good product for the money. I bought two about a year ago and used one in the office and one at home for my gaming setup, the keys are smooth and the changeable backlit colours make a nice feature if you want to colour code your desk theme.
Had this for almost a year already and it’s working like new. I always use the lighting as it fits with my mouse and pc tower.
As others have said, this is a good functional keyboard with sturdy and tactile keys that provide good feedback. The windows key lock and volume dial are great features and the lights look great. I am using this for gaming also, but have not had any use of the macro keys yet, although i am sure i will try them out at some point. Longevity of it can’t be commented on as yet, but i do ware out the keys quite well usually, so may not notice. I noticed that this keyboard has been criticized for being ‘buggy’ when gaming and i can confirm that this isn’t the case. There is a button on the keyboard to fix this (like a dpi button on a mouse). When used, makes this keyboard as smooth as would be expected for a gaming addition. Did i mention the lights are cool?.

Very good keyboard and the lights are amazing and spark up the room. Cant find much better for the price.
One of the best keyboards i have ever used. It is so much more comfortable than my razor chrome keyboard.
Great keyboard, easy to change the colour and brightness of the leds, the keys are easy to press but not so light that it is easy to misclick. The programmable keys only work as a string of buttons already on the keyboard, for example ‘hey’, you cant set them to do any other function as there is no software for this, however they are still useful and what more can you expect for the price?overall i would thoroughly recommend.
For the price more than pleased.

This led lighting is very helpful. But, key touch is too hard and noisy.
Grandson very happy with this.
Pro:backlighting is very good – significantly brighter than some i’ve used and more than the 1 to 3 colours most haveproper uk layout, not the weird and annoying american one (which i’m sure is fine for weird and annoying americans, but its a pain that so many sold on uk sites turn out to be like that). Doesn’t have any of the other non-standard layout quirks that keyboards can have either. Macro and multimedia and extra keys are a nice bonus, even has a dial (instead of buttons) for volume controltyping ‘action’ is ok, not up with the really expensive keyboards, but it doesn’t ‘stick’ at allcon:very ugly design, in terms of shapehideous fontkeytops seem smaller than i’m used to (overall the keyboard seems normal size, so guess its just the shape of the keys?)apparently the macro key functionality is not as sophisticated as on some keyboards, but i’m probably not going to be using them much anyway – a bonus to have them at all on a cheap keyboardthough the typing action is acceptable, its recognisably a ‘cheap’ keyboard, obviously not a good choice if you want comfort while copy-typing war and peace. I expect the keytops to eventually wear through – they always do though.
Very good keyboard except the spacebar is now no longer functioning since one tiny plastic holder on the underside of the spacebar has snapped. Is it possible to get a replacement spacebar?.
This is a really nice keyboard very happy especially or the price.
Powercool RG100 Gaming Keyboard with Macro Programmable Keys : Very functional, buttons are responsive, leds are acceptably bright and the colour switching works well (though the buttons to change colour settings are a little unintuitive). The keyboard is cheap, so as can be expected the construction is cut-price. The main problem resulting form this is that the support legs are slightly different heights, so one of the rubber pads doesn’t contact the ground. This means the left side of the keyboard will not move when pushed, but the right side (with no rubber) does. Also, the font is exactly as hideous as it looks in the picture (i. Very) – but you do get used to it. Macro keys are a nice touch, though not high quality apparently. The windows key lock is a nice, as is the volume dial, which is much more useful than volume keys. Overall: functional, good value, would recommend.

This is exactly the keyboard i was looking for,the lights are bright so i can use them in the office and people will actually notice. Th keys aren’t too soft not are they too hard, far from a mechanical keyboard but better than most cheap keyboards on the market.
Buttons are really soft to touch, easy to misclick, the programmable keys g1-g5 are only recordable on the keyboard itself and only goes as fast as was recorded, no software to make better macros which sucks. Keyboard is alright, the leds on the side of the keyboard only works with certain colours.
Cheap keyboard, good for price, very well spaced keyboard+big palm pad- i like it.
I bought this for my son and he loves it.
He sits for hours at that rig and when the old keyboard starts sticking his language turned blue. Love the back lighting on the keys – it’s prefect for the job (and he’s quit swearing.
Great keyboard still works now and still looks great.

Brilliant keyboard – writing this review on it now. Looks great with my all green gaming desktop set up set to green led mode, well chuffed oh and it is a uk version in case anyone was considering this and thought it could be the us layout.
Brilliant keyboard for the money i must say. Feels well made and nice to type with and brilliant for gaming aswell. My only gripe is the volume is a wheel instead of a button and it seems to get stuck quite often meaning you have to jiggle it a bit but thats just me being picky.
On a personal note: the continously changing lights is very annoying.
We have had this keyboard for about a month and is an extremely good keyboard as the keys are brightly lit and easy to see the keys.
I have now convinced 3 of my friends that this is a mechanical keyboard. That was fun, watching them say ‘yeah it’s a high quality one, you can tell by the height and depth of the keys’ and ‘ i can tell it’s using a cherry mx set up’ lol. Dont worry, i came clean to them, but it goes to show, if it feels good, works good, then it should be good enough. You don’t need to spend a small fortune on gaming equipment just because it’s branded by a certain manufacturer. This keyboard feels and looks great, it’s functional and has some great features, the the 5 keys at the top that you can set to anything you like. The wheel to change volume during games and films is great because it doesn’t show a volume bar on screen. The windows lock button is also a great feature because i was always pressing it and exiting by mistake. Thats a thing of the past now. The colours are flat or pulsing on a cycle but very bright. I would have loved to see more than one colour moving across the keypad or have the ability to choose what keys are what colour but for the price i am more than satisfied.
Happy with keyboard layout out is nice work well.

How to fix buggy keys problem:i spent about a month wondering if it was a fixed problem, or if there’s a solution, and it turns out there is :)on the keyboard, focus on the top right. It’s the furthest key to the right, the key is a man running. This toggles through how the keys react when pressed, i just had to press it twice and now the keys don’t do the stop-start motion that i thought was a problem, you can hold them down as you would with any other keyboard. Overall a good keyboard, even though for a start i thought it wasn’t very good because i thought it would be a problem, it’s fine after pressing the key with the running man symbol :).
Ive just gone back playing pc games, and these keyboard ticks all the right boxes. It’s got a very good back lite that shows the keys but the lettering aswell. It’s sturdy with a nice braided usb lead. You can macro the keys, don’t know much about that but my son said its was pretty cool. And it’s got anti ghosting meaning you can press more keys and they will relate to actions on screen. The usb lead is pretty long aswell. Didn’t take long to be delivered, 2 days and it was packed so it wouldn’t get any damage. There’s 3 settings per every led light, and you can turn them off completely. It’s just nice keyboard and comfortable to use. Mind you i’m still all fingers and thumbs.
It’s a pretty solid keyboard, maybe a little bit too big but it looks pretty cool so i’ll give it a pass. For those with the repeating/ flickering keystrokes when pressing and holding a key, try pressing the ‘running man’ button on the top right of the keyboard. That fixed the issue for me.
