Nice tactile keyboard, seems to work well, it is a little loud as others have noted but no more than many other mechanical keyboards.

This keyboard is insanely loud which i hate. But if you have a headset on and have no friends to play with that will get annoyed at the sound, then it is a decent keyboard. But i would strongly recommend investing in a respectable brand (like corsair or roccat) because their keyboards will last a lifetime (i bought this as a backup keyboard of i smashed the other).

Serious quality, solid metal mechanical keyboard. Light options are good and easy to program (although it’s not obvious whether it integrates with the common rgb controllers for coordinated effects, so check first if that’s your goal). The keys are rated as brown equivalent, and the key stroke is certainly firm enough. And whilst not silent is definitely better than the loud noise we experienced with the previous ‘blue’ version of this keyboard we had.

Keyboard feels amazing, keys feel nice and sturdy and is a massive bargain at this price.

This is a really solid keyboard , much better than my previous microsoft and logitech plastic keyboards it has replaced. It has a robust feel and it has many options to adjust the lighting. Its a bit loud , but i like that. It also cost 50% less than my logitech that gave up after 2 years.

Works well heavy keys and loud if you love clicky sounding keys then this is for youit is responsive but you do need a slightly heavier key press as it is with all blue switchesexcellent value for moneythe only downside is the pre set colour choices , no software to customise them yourself plus print is way to small on the user leaflet that comes with the keyboardhence the overall score of 4.

I like the rgb features and the design of the keyboard.

Sturdy construction, satisfyingly clacky. Seems like a very well made piece of hardware. Don’t use the light feature but it seems to work fine.

I love the sound it makes when i type. Looks beautiful and is sturdy.

I needed a replacement to my mad catz keyboard (lasted 3 months, company has collapsed, no support) and thought i’d try a mechanical keyboard for a change. Wow, these things are loud and immersion breaking. Clackedy clackedy clack clack clack – it started as a bit of a shock and has developed in to a pain in my head. Why on earth would anyone want to listen to the constant clacking of one of these devices???setting up the lights is quite simple and probably the best feature of this board. I have all my important gaming keys lit up in colours that make sense (in my head) so i can quickly glance at the board and know i’m hitting the correct key. Never buying another mechanical keyboard again and, unfortunately, the build of this keyboard feels like it will last forever.

High quality feel, very clicky, the rgb is amazing, for the price you cant go wrong. If you don’t like loud keyboards then its not you though.

This is the best keyboard for the price that you’ll find (at least for gaming) the switches feel amazing and it has about 50 lighting effects. The keys are quite loud but most gaming keyboards are. Personally i like colicky keys anyway. If your looking for a productivity keyboard i’d probably go somewhere else but this is amazing for gaming.

It’s a keyboard, what more can i say; well the style of font used for the keys is a bit odd, i’m sure it would not bother a ‘touch typist’ but, for example, the number ‘9’ looks like the letter ‘g’ and the letter ‘o’ looks like a couple of square brackets ‘[ ” but, as with my new mouse, i’m sure i’ll soon get used to it. The keys are a bit noiser than my old membrane keyboard but not so much as to be distracting. My one worry about buying a new keyboard was that the keys would not have a reasonable gap between each other (as are a lot of the ‘basic’ membrane keybords) and so result in my sausage like fingers pressing two keys at once, but no worries with this keyboard as there is sufficient gap between the keys that i don’t risk pressing two keys together. All-in-all it’s a good, sturdy, responsive keyboard. ]

This keyboard is really loud but that doesn’t bother me as it adds to the gaming experience, all in all great keyboard. Would recommend to anyone on a budget.

It’s literally a mechanical keyboard for half the price of a big brand. Nice white and polished alloy finish. Only issue some people might have with it is it’s loud keys. If you like the loud key sound then it’s brilliant, if you don’t then i’d find something else.

The colours are awesome and customizable. Some reviews say the keyboard is very loud. Yes, it is louder than a conventional keyboard, but it’s not overpowering. It’s very responsive in games.

Very loud, good weight to the actual keyboard so i feel like it wont break easily. The back lighting on it is beautiful and the product as a whole is beautiful.

Bought to replace a logitech board that had incredibly annoying boingy springs – the eagletec isn’t quite as classy but it feels and sounds good and the rgb is nice to have (i often work in a dark room and just choose a static colour that pleases me at the time). I ordered a set of dampers for the keys to reduce the click a bit (blue keys) but by the time they arrived i has got used to the feel and decided to leave them off. A slightly nicer finish on the deck and a braided cable would have got 5 stars, but as it is it feels solid, works a treat and seems to be great value.

Get the black e of you don’t want to clean it every 5 minutes.

Well as good as the keyboard is i kinda expected it to last more than the 6months its lasted, so i can’t really complain from the price i guess, but yeah the left ‘shift’ key just randomly stopped working, and refuses to work again so i guess if your on a budget its a good keyboard that will last awhile, i intensely type alot so i really put it to the test and the fact it worked just 5 days shy of 6months is crazy i guess. But overall its a good keyboard.

This keyboard is fine and relatively good value. It’s works well enough for the price and has some nice features, like metal ‘aluminium , maybe’ faceplate and a selection of illumination options. This like raised, exposed screws on the surface of the faceplate hint at it’s budget price, as does the relatively thin, non-braided cable. Like i said, it works well enough, but i don’t expect it to last as long as a more premium option.

This is my first mechanical keyboard so i did a lot of reading about cherry switches and deciding which ones would be best suited to my needs. Both myself and my missus work from home at least once a week and do a fair amount of typing and with nobody else around to annoy with a noisy keyboard i decided to go for the ultra clicky blue switches. This keyboard also has the benefit of having blue led lighting which matches the colour scheme of my pc and study. The keys are very responsive and do make a noise but certainly not as noisy as some of the reviews on here would have you believe. One review said it was as loud as having a conversation with someone in the same room but i think that’s a slight over-exaggeration. The keyboard itself feels sturdy, responsive and pretty indestructible. It has a slightly quirky font on the keys but as a touch typist this doesn’t really bother me, in fact it makes it look a bit futuristic looking in conjunction with the blue lighting and minimalist design. For the price you really can’t beat this keyboard as most other mechanical keyboards are much more expensive and i’m not sure you could justify spending much more when this is more than up to the task. I can’t really comment on how good it is for gaming as i’ve only really typed on it for the internet and the odd document. I’d certainly recommend eagletec products if they’re all as good as this keyboard.

This is the first product ever i returned to amazon and that after just one hour of using it. The construction is very sturdy, it is a quality build, the led lighting is very nice, not intrusive. The keyswitches (outemo blue) are nice as well and the tactile feedback is really nice. This was my first mechanical keyboard and i wanted to keep it cheap but alas: the aluminium backplate, although looking very nice and modern industrial, causes a metallic sound almost like a bell everytime you type in a key. So you get not only the clack from the keys (really nice sound) but also that metallic feedback. If you are typing a lot, that just drives you crazy. I wanted the soothing sound of clacks, not the bells. Sad that it had to go back (amazon returns are quite easy though, i thought it would be more of a hassle).

Pros:>very nice stylish keyboard. >the backlight feature is especially useful. >positive clicky feel to the keys when you type. Cons:>not really a ‘con’, but the flashing and wave functions are a bit of a gimmick. You’ll probably have a play with them at first, like we did, then settle on the standard non-flashing setting. >the numlock and capslock leds are very bright, and distracting in a low-light situation. A small strip of white paper positioned over the leds dims them nicely. >this is not a quiet keyboard.

This keyboard is amazing for the price and i would recommend to anyone. This keyboard feels and sounds amazing but is very loud. If you are a teenager who stays up late and still lives with their parents, i wouldn’t recommend as much as your parents will not like the noise.

The keyboard is very well made with the aluminium case being very sturdy with no flexing. The keys are not much more noisy than my old rubber dome keyboard & the keystrokes are very positive with no miss-hits. The led lighting effects are good but i tend to use the single purple colour on middle brightness.

I am one of those nerds that reads a lot before i buy and this k-board came out really high even against some that were double the cost of this, did i tell you it was noisy?. It feels really nice to use and looks great on the table, very solid construction, positive feedback from the keys. In short i love it and yes as you have guessed. But if like me you are not going to bother anybody.

This keyboard is excellent value for money. It has a very solid construction and they keys feel excellent. The backlight features are very nice, and customisable. For £40 you’ll struggle to find a better keyboard.
